Thank God those attendants got that dress sale. They were the real heroes of the chapter!

So I was pretty excited to see a lot of my thoughts on Annabel be proven right in that first segment. She's definitely in the true believer category, thinking things like how Trevor is "meant to serve and nothing more." And I knew the thought of him "corrupting" Donnica, her idol, was the source of Annabel's anger toward Trevor in particular. Donnica is perfect in Annabel's eyes except for her relationship with the tiny dude, which Annabel finds unnatural and insulting (yet doesn't seem to think less of Donnica because of it).

But given Annabel's true believer status, her profitable side job makes a lot of sense. I like how this built off of her training all of those office slaves (I was wondering if anything was going to come of that). Her tactics as a breaker are cruel, cold, and efficient, which, it turns out, ends up being a pretty effective combination when it comes to enslaving tinies.

But man, I have to admit, I'm actually kind of impressed by her approach to this. I'm not saying I'm a fan or that I support it, but she does put a lot of thought into what she's doing. In that last segment, the beginnings of her strategy for taming Teagan caught me by surprise. It made sense to me that each of the two previous breakers used at least 20 expendables each, as I feel like the kind of person who would take that job would view tinies as bugs or animals and therefore would think simple "examples" would be enough for their little subjects to learn.

But Annabel, oddly enough, is taking Teagan's humanity into account here. She searched until she found an expendable that looked like she might have come from a similar background to Teagan. She's now putting them through the same trauma but not in an obvious way (I feel like a rookie mistake would have been putting them in the same shoe, as that would have been a clue to a smart tiny that something was up). She wants the two of them to bond so that Teagan is broken when she takes the expendable away later. That's super evil, but it's also incredibly brilliant!

And in an odd bit of irony, Annabel is thinking of Teagan as human rather than as a bug or animal. It's just such an inherent contradiction within her. The exact kind of thing you'd expect from a "true believer," someone so lost in their own rhetoric or flawed worldview that they just can't see the cognitive dissonance right in front of their face!

Even more ironic, in my view, is how Annabel doesn't apply this same skill, thought, and logic her job at the firm! She seems so incompetent at the office, but she's so efficient as a breaker. I mean, if she approached her real job with the same intensity and drive s she does her side job, her "Trevor problem" would have never come to be in the first place.

How can she handle each job so differently? Sure, Annabel is more passionate about breaking than she is office work, but it was also made clear that she would do anything for Donnica, so I don't think that's the issue. No, I think it's that belief that tinies are inferior that allows her to be her "best self" while breaking them. Even though she's capable of being as manipulative and effective in the office, the fact that they're all giants keeps her from displaying that same confidence.

In other words, her beliefs are holding her back.

It was so weird seeing Annabel being pushed around by Juliette after reading her in that first segment, but it makes sense when you think about it. While she subconsciously knows tinies are just like her (again, this is why her training is so effective), she can't consciously accept that, so she can't have that same confidence around her fellow bigs.

But even beyond that, Aanabel's immaturity doesn't allow her to fully understand how things really are, which is an even bigger problem for her. Take her "plan" to deal with Trevor, for example. She really thinks that if Trevor fails at this job, Donnica is going to abandon him, and then she'll be able to "train" him and destroy him like she fantasized about at the start. Not only that, but she assumes that her dragging her feet or even outright refusing to help will reflect poorly on him and not her.

None of that is true, of course. If Trevor fails as office manager, Donnica would just stop pressing the issue and let him go home. Also, Donnica *knows* that Trevor knows how to fix the office, and she knows that he's going to be met with resistance. So, if Trevor fails and her plan to keep him close at work fails with it, she's most likely going to blame Annabel (who she seems to trust) for not doing what Trevor needed, what Donnica needed her to do for Trevor.

Donnica loves Trevor, and that's something Annabel can't comprehend. She's never felt real love before. She's only just know starting to with George. But Annabel is so lost in her beliefs that she thinks her pettiness will just be blamed on the tiny instead of her. She can't understand that Donnica knows how competent Trevor is or that she put her boyfriend in this position because she has faith that he can thrive even in this hostile environment. Annabel is just totally blind to the truth when it comes to such things, and that could be what destroys her in the end.

It doesn't have to be that way, though. I do see a little window of hope with Annabel. My favorite part of her character is that she's written in very much the way I view a person in their mid-20s: as someone who's trying to find herself. Yeah, she's got some fucked-up beliefs and she can be ridiculously petty, but that desire she has for something more and how cute her nerves are over how to handle George's texts show a different side of her, a more mature Annabel trying to get out.

I'm a big believer that you don't really find who you really are until sometime in your mid-20s (apologies to anyone reading this who is younger than that). To me, this thing she's pursuing with George could be a major coming of age experience for Annabel. I think we'll likely see some major changes in her as the story advances. Now, does that mean I think she's going to do a 180 and love all tinies or that a move in that direction would make all the shit she's done okay? Not at all (I mean, it's possible but highly unlikely). But I could see Annabel becoming a better person moving forward and maybe even quitting her side job, even if she still looks down on tinies in general.

That's not a given, however, and she could stick to her guns throughout, but I can only see that ending with everything blowing up in her face. So, for her sake, she should probably get her shit together at some point!

I'm also really curious to see how this Teagan arc goes. I love the fire she has (for the same reasons I loved Rebecca standing up to Amber that first time). Now, I can only think of two reasons why she exists in this story: She's either going to be a character who won't break and play a role in Annabel becoming that better person I mentioned above, or you're just super into this breaking process and want to really get into the details of it in the coming chapters! I could see it going either way right now, too, so I'm intrigued to see which way you go!

I'll also be interested to see how she interacts with Trevor next chapter. I don't think she's going to warm up to him at all, but his advice about George did work out. Ironically enough, Trevor actually represents a lot of that unknown thing that Annabel wants in her life. If she keeps listening to his advice, shit might just work out for her on the George front. But I'm curious if she'll be a little more cooperative with Trevor as an unspoken thanks (because she'll never speak it!). Or maybe she'll start to wonder if he's onto something about LegalSync since he was right about the texting thing. Or is she going to ignore that and stick with her original plan? We could learn a lot about her from how this alone plays out.

As for Trevor, I thought he was brilliant here! He's picking his battles and keeping his cool, just waiting for the right opportunities. And he found one with those texts! He kept going on about them as Annabel tried to ignore him. He got in her head to the point that she gave away George's age, which was pretty impressive.

I also loved the urgency in which he came at Annabel and told her to text him back right away. Despite everything Annabel had done to him and how she was treating him, it still felt like he was genuinely trying to help her and not just for work reasons. He really is a good dude, although he was able to slip in that fake age compliment, which was clever.

After seeing him in the office for a day, and even despite Lillian mistaking him for "one of the Turner boys," I'm actually feeling a bit more confident that he's going to make this work. He even has someone he can make into a common enemy with Annabel in Helena, who I'm sure we'll be seeing sometime soon as well.

I really, really loved all of the Amber and Rebecca stuff this chapter, too!

Obviously, Rebecca helping Amber go cleat shopping was super fucking cute! And her using it as an excuse to get closer to the smell of her feet was endearing, given the context behind that from previous chapters.

But when Rebecca threw that "You mean will I eat your ass again?" line out there, shit got real for a second. With all of this great Amber and Rebecca stuff since "the talk" the way Amber treated Rebecca at first hadn't really been addressed up to this point, so it was great to see it come up. It seems like Rebecca has pretty much forgiven her for what she did before, but you have to wonder why she'd bring it up if she was totally past it. Her love for Amber is stronger than whatever lingering feelings she has left from that time, but this is something they may end up having to address directly at some point.

Actually, scratch that. They will have to address it directly. That Amber scene when she's trying on the dress was so powerful, so raw, so emotion! It was fantastic! It made so much sense, too! For the first time, since Amber captured Rebecca, the tiny was truly free, and the delay in her realizing that just made the scene hit harder.

At first she's worried about someone coming and snatching Rebecca (which makes even more sense since Rebecca isn't registered), and that gave us the false impression that the drama of the scene had come and gone. But then Amber thinking back to all the shit she did to Rebecca in those early days and realizing that Rebecca could just leave on her own if she wanted to, go anywhere in the city, kind of scared me a little as a reader. Would Rebecca really do that?

Then we get deeper insight into what Amber really thinks of Rebecca. It was actually really sweet to see someone who once just called Rebecca a bug, worm, or toy reveal how much she respected and admired her now. To think Rebecca capable enough to disappear and be just fine on her own, to think about just how smart Rebecca is, isn't something I would have expected from the Amber at the start of the story. It's amazing how far she's come!

But yeah, when Amber asked herself, "Why wouldn't she leave?" and admitted that she would have left if she were in Rebecca's place, it was depressing, terrifying, and cathartic all at the same time. It's terrible that Amber feels this way now, even if it is deserved based on her past actions. And it was certainly terrifying to think that you might pull the rug out from under us and have Rebecca escape, ya jerk!

But cathartic? How so, you might ask.

Like I said before, all of that terrible treatment from before has kind of been forgotten about up until this chapter. I think that made sense, as their relationship was pretty new, and what new couple wants to be weighed down by deeper issues like that. But to see Amber fully realize her mistakes, and in such an organic way, was very touching. She's becoming such a better person, but now it's time to confront the shit she did wrong before.

And we didn't even have to lose Rebecca to get something like this. I was so relieved to see Rebecca still there, and that long embrace was incredibly heartwarming!

But like I said, I highly doubt this is the end of them dealing with this. Amber will probably need to express her feelings on this at some point, and if Rebecca really is repressing something from those darker days, then it's going to come out sooner or later (probably sooner, based on her personality).

Speaking of Rebecca, that whole scene at Tiny Teen and Me was both adorable and insightful. Cute for all the obvious reasons, but insightful because of what we saw happen to Rebecca in there.

Why is it that Rebecca loved seeing herself in all those clothes that "weren't her style" and that she used to make fun of when she was a teen? Why did she suddenly decide that she likes being small and no longer having to deal with all of those responsibilities that life throws at you? Well, that's because Rebecca never really got a proper childhood!

Rebecca got the shit beaten out of her routinely by her stepfather. We don't know when that started exactly, but it's safe to say a mostly developed teen would have known to report him. That shit usually starts when the kid is young. So I think it's fairly safe to say that Rebecca was abused for most of her childhood. I feel like that has a lot to do with her counterculture approach to life even now, but especially when she was a kid.

I'd argue that she made fun of all the kids that dressed the way that she herself did in this scene because of jealousy. Those kids got to have normal lives and live without a care in the world. Rebecca never had that, and she hated it. But instead of acknowledging that, she judged everyone who had what she didn't instead, which is why she kept bringing it up here.

And that's also why she was so shocked at how much she loved the way she looked.

This was her getting to finally get that experience. She finally got to wear those cute clothes and be that kind of girl. It's something that she clearly wanted but never knew it until now. It almost felt like she was getting back the childhood she was denied all those years ago.

But more than that, it was the reason why she was able to feel this way that made her feel so good. Amber wanted Rebecca to feel cherished by doing this, and it was so great to see Rebecca admit that she did, in fact, feel special by the end of the segment.

Rebecca has had a hard life. There was the years of abuse, all the trouble she got into at school for the aggression that abuse brought out of her, her mom getting sick and her having to drop out of school to take care of her, her mom dying, getting the shrinking virus, losing her registration and the way that she was kicked out of her complex, and even all the shit Amber put her through before they both realized how they really feel about each other.

So to feel so loved for once is a big change for Rebecca. To have someone take away all that responsibility, all that hardship, and only want to care for her is something she came to terms with in real time during this scene. That's why she likes being small. That's why she chose to start seeing her no longer having adult responsibilities as a good thing. That's why her fiscal self relented and let Amber spend all of that money on her (something I think could come back to bite them later, unfortunately).

So it was awesome to see Rebecca receive semi-literal retail therapy here!

Also, Amber was incredibly cute throughout this scene as well. The joy she felt both for herself and for Rebecca was contagious! She loved seeing Rebecca all dressed up and basically being her doll (although, again, as we saw in the dress store, she see Rebecca as so much more than that), but she also loved that Rebecca was into it herself.

And the way Amber stared yearningly at that fairy outfit but didn't ask, not wanting to push Rebecca too far, was really sweet and actually kind of mature. I was glad Rebecca saw that and offered, though! Between that and Amber silently asking Rebecca if it was okay for the other teens to take her picture (which could also become a problem at some point), she was incredibly respectful of Rebecca which is always great to see!

Also, should I read anything into the fact that the teens asked Amber and not Rebecca if they could take pictures of the tiny fairy girl? That struck me as a bit rude!

But yeah, you killed this chapter! It was a lot of fun, and it potentially set up a ton shit down the road. I'm really eager to see where you go with it!

Author's Response:

Annabel & Trevor

Great insights on Annabel here!

One of the most striking realizations I've had from your review is just how much she embodies the experience of a mid-20s person trying to find their way in the world. I didn’t have a character like that before… Donnica and Trevor are both 40, Rebecca is 31, and Amber is 18. That whole self-discovery period of the 20s was missing until Annabel really came into focus. She brings an entirely new dimension to the story that I didn’t even realize I needed.

I’ve always been drawn to her, even before I had fully fleshed her out. Way back when we first met her, after Donnica relieved tiny John Turner of his duties, my initial idea was just to have him scurry out of the room. But as I was writing that scene, something clicked… Annabel walked in, and instead of letting him go, she enslaved him. That moment opened up so much potential for her character. Then, a few chapters later, I had Donnica coming into the office to punish Marge and Dolores, and again, Annabel’s presence expanded the scope of that scene. At first, it was just supposed to be John, but as I got into Annabel’s head, her actions became even more devious. It felt more fitting, more natural, that she wouldn’t just take John, she would take his entire family and turn them into office foot slaves. That kind of cruelty and total domination is so core to who she is.

You absolutely nailed it when you described her as a true believer. That has always been fundamental to how I see her. She truly believes tinies are meant to serve, and that ideology bleeds into everything she does. I’ve always felt this about her in the way she treats Donnica, her worship of Donnica is near-religious. But now, having the chance to fully flesh out her thoughts and inner world, it’s been an absolute joy to write. Over the last few weeks, she’s become my favorite character to explore, simply because of how layered and contradictory she is.

Her contradictions are what make her so compelling. In her workshop, she’s an unshakable master, completely in control of her slaves and surroundings. But in the office? She’s bullied by Helena and her team, clearly out of her depth in dealing with fellow giants. She’s ruthlessly confident when enslaving tinies, yet she gets nervous over something as simple as texting George. She’s a brutal and calculating breaker, yet she’s petty and jealous when it comes to Trevor. In many ways, she’s the most complete character yet because she’s so deeply human, despite how monstrous she appears in most scenes.

Another thing that makes her so unique is that, unlike Donnica and Amber, she actively collects tinies. Donnica and Amber happened upon them—Donnica through her relationship with Trevor and Amber through her mother/Trevor. But Annabel seeks them out, knows how to find them, how to exploit them. They fall into her lap regularly. That dynamic changes the way I can approach the world of the story… she’s not just another giantess playing with the tinies who cross her path, she’s a predator in the truest sense. It’ll be fascinating to see how that plays out as she moves forward in the story.

Trevor picking his battles is the perfect way to describe him this chapter. He’s incredibly strategic, he knows when to push, when to pull back, and how to manipulate situations to his advantage. But you’re absolutely right that there’s also an element of genuine empathy in the way he interacts with people. A lot of tiny people in this world would want absolutely nothing to do with giants, and yet Trevor, despite everything, has this almost instinctual way of navigating these larger-than-life women. Sure, his love for Donnica is at the center of that, but I do think there’s something else, something in him that’s drawn to this world, even when it should repel him.

But winning over Annabel? That’s going to be his real challenge. Given her blind worship of Donnica and her outright disdain for tiny people, she’s not going to make it easy for him. The real question is, can he do it? Is there a path where he earns her grudging respect, or will she always see him as an intruder in Donnica’s world? That’s something I’m excited to explore further.

And one last thing… I completely agree that Annabel, with all her bravado and cold precision, doesn’t actually understand real love. She can’t grasp the depth of Donnica’s feelings for Trevor. But something tells me… love is right around the corner for our Breaker.

Amber & Rebecca

Man, I have to tell you one of those funny writer stories… I came so close to cutting the prom dress shop scene. For whatever reason, I felt like a lot of it didn’t click. Yes, it had that big revelation at the end, and I definitely wanted that, but I wasn’t sure if the chapter was paced well enough to keep interest until we got there.

I played around with it a lot, even considered taking it out entirely and trying to fit the revelation somewhere else. That meltdown in the fitting room? That had so many rewrites. I’m still not 100% sure I nailed it, but reading your reaction, and especially hearing that you, as a reader, genuinely didn’t know if Rebecca was going to be there when Amber walked out, that makes me feel better about the tension working.

…Though, to be fair, I might have just over-researched prom dresses to the point that it soured my mood on the whole scene. :D

Great points on the food court scene, too. I knew at some point I had to address Amber and Rebecca’s history more directly. Amber forcing Rebecca up her ass was obviously traumatizing… no matter how much Rebecca loves her now, trauma doesn’t just vanish because an understanding is reached. Those kinds of memories linger, and for someone like Rebecca, who is loud, sharp-tongued, and a fighter at heart, those wounds are bound to surface when she’s vulnerable or pushed.

The real question is: how will it continue to come up? Will it be destructive or healing? I don’t think we have a concrete answer yet, but we’ll definitely be exploring it further as we move forward.

Your analysis of the Tiny Teen & Me scene was fantastic. Honestly, I hadn’t consciously thought of Rebecca reclaiming her lost childhood as she tried on those clothes, but you’re absolutely right. Looking back, I can see how that thread naturally wove itself into the scene.

I’m going to put on my pretentious writer’s hat here and say that, while I didn’t intentionally construct it that way, I think I was guided by intuition. After spending so long with these characters, you start writing on instinct, channeling things about them that you know at a deeper level even if you don’t fully realize it in the moment.

You’re a fellow writer, so you know that feeling when you just know you’re spinning something great. That was what happened for me in that scene. When Rebecca stepped out in the fairy costume, twirled for Amber, and had that quiet revelation about how much she truly loved her life now—I felt that moment. I was almost overwhelmed with joy, with something even deeper I couldn’t fully explain.

I am very, VERY proud of that scene, and reading your breakdown — seeing you get to the heart of why it clicked — was so rewarding for me. So, seriously, thank you for that. I know this is just some silly erotica story, but knowing that it’s working on a deeper level means the world to me.

Also, bro… that paragraph where you laid out everything that’s happened to Rebecca? From her stepfather’s abuse to shrinking, losing her registration, being kicked out of her complex, and all the torment Amber put her through? I sat there thinking, damn, what did I do to this poor woman?

But, I mean… that’s what we do to our characters, right? We put them through hell. It makes the highs hit harder. Though I will say… it seems like Rebecca has suffered enough at this point. Maybe it’s smooth sailing for her from here on out.

…Probably.

And I’m not sure if you should read too much into the teens asking Amber first and not Rebecca about the pictures—other than the fact that, in this world, most giantesses assume other giantesses are the ones in control.

Probably because they are :D

But we’ll see!

Thank you so much for the positive feedback! This chapter was a crucial turning point in both style and plot, so seeing you break down why it worked was both amazing and a huge relief. Plenty more to come!

P.S. Did you catch all the italics and bold in this response? Guess who’s using Word now????

Annabel is lovely.

It's also nice to see Becca and Amber getting so close together.

Author's Response:

So lovely, the kind of girl you want to bring home to your family, unless your family is tiny, that is…

And yes, the 2 girls are certainly on the upswing!

What an amazing chapter! I love the darker part with Annabel; she is such a bitch. I enjoyed the part with Jasmine and hope to see her again, maybe in a feet-focused scene. Looking forward to seeing how stinky she can make her feet.

And, as usual, the part with Amber and Rebecca is so precious. I hope you keep this relationship between them and use other characters for the mean giantess role. Another 10 out of 10 in the bag for this story

Author's Response:

Yesssssss, dude, Annabel is an absolute blast to write! I’m really glad the early feedback on her has been positive. She plays a big role in this arc as I work on making her a more permanent fixture in the story. Also, Jasmine mayyyyyyyyy have a role later on ;)

Rebecca and Amber are definitely in full swing! It’s all smooth sailing for now… but let’s hope there aren’t any storms brewing on the horizon.

Thanks for the 10/10 brother! Love reading your comments as always :)

So that was a very interesting chapter. I already like Annabel. She is delightfully cruel. But yes, she really does need to learn to not play with a guy, especially an older gentlemen.

As For her secondary job, well it makes sense that there would be people like that, this genre always finds away to make me. Nervous. I both love and hate tiny traders. It’s both hot and disturbing. Though to be honest, you wouldn’t have to break me very much to be an excellent ass kisser. Just saying.

I am rooting for Tegan, and the spare, but I am very worried about the spare. Tinkers with no name really don’t have the best of luck in these stories.

So I really loved amber and Rebecca’s continued development. That was sickeningly sweet. That was so adorable I thought I might need to get checked for diabetes. Dude they have come so far.

Don’t think I didn’t catch the the desire that amber has for her little girl to kiss her ass. (I a ass guy if you didn’t tell)

I loved that amber has fully realized how important Rebecca has ccome to be to her. I loved her little almost panic attack. And there was little Rebecca just waiting outside like a girlfriend of pet. I know they aren’t fully girlfriend, nut they are exactly master and slave either. I a, not sure how to qualify their relationship. I love it. I love non traditional relationships.

i will admit, i honestly was expecting something to happen. Either when they got swamped by the teenagers, or when amber was changing. So you suprised me when everything turned out ok for them. Though I have a feeling, depending on how much donnica pays attention to her credit card bills, the cat may be out of the bag about rebbeccas Existence.

so Trevor works with a ti y breaker. Oh boy. I really a, starting to worry about him. Like I KNIW donnica will protect him but it’s like he said she won’t always be around. But good on him for standing up for himself to some one not donnica. Like was impressed with his interpersonal skills.

one last thing I loved the clothe shopping. It was so adorable. But the cherry on top was having Rebecca dress up as a fairy, that was cute.

Author's Response:

“So that was a very interesting chapter. I already like Annabel. She is delightfully cruel. But yes, she really does need to learn to not play with a guy, especially an older gentlemen.”

Delightfully cruel is the perfect description for Annabel! Also, who knows where her romantic endeavors will lead her…

Writing her as a Breaker was an absolute blast. Creating the handler, her workshop, her stand-ins, and bringing it all to life on the page felt like a natural extension of Annabel. I’m really excited to show everyone where I’m taking her—she’s easily become my favorite character to write in recent weeks.

“So I really loved amber and Rebecca’s continued development. That was sickeningly sweet. That was so adorable I thought I might need to get checked for diabetes. Dude they have come so far. “

It was so much fun writing that mall scene where Rebecca finally accepted being tiny, I think Rebecca’s introspection is what really sealed it, before that it was a fun wardrobe scene, but the insight really elevated the segment. Also, sexually charging it at the start (Rebecca being near Ambers feet and then Ambers desire to have Rebecca up her ass) goes along way to enhance cute scenes IMO, as long as you arnt too explicit with the starting sexuality.

And yeah, the fairy costume was a great bit to write too! Glad you singled it out :)

Actually dude, I was kind of thinking about you when I wrote this scene. I remember back during the sandcastle scene in part 15 you mentioned that, if Rebecca and Amber were nicer to each other, that could have been a real relationship building moment. So, when writing this I was thinking about that, and I was betting you would like it!

“so Trevor works with a tiny breaker. Oh boy. I really a, starting to worry about him. Like I KNOW donnica will protect him but it’s like he said she won’t always be around. But good on him for standing up for himself to some one not donnica. Like was impressed with his interpersonal skills.”

I think while he may have Donnica’s protection, he’ll still have to sink or swim on his own. Can he win Annabel over? Not looking good…

Trevor has taken on a much more active role in the latest parts of the story, and it’s been a blast writing him as he pushes his full mental capacity to tackle the challenge of running Donnica’s office. He’s proving to be made of sterner stuff than anyone - maybe even himself - expected.

“Don’t think I didn’t catch the desire that amber has for her little girl to kiss her ass. (I am an ass guy if you didn’t tell)”

I feel you brother, from one ass guy to another… also, all I’ll say is… keep reading ;)
