I felt Ashley’s frustration at Julia’s attitude. I also started to understand how frustrating this must be for Julia. Everything just comes to her, even Ashley’s body, but not Ashley’s love, and Julia’s condition makes it so hard for her to understand how to win it.
I was really skeptical about what love means to someone with Julia’s condition. But I think it’s real because she has been so quick to bend on her decisions. “I own you, the internet is a distraction” to “I’ll think about” to “here’s my tablet” in one night? I don’t think Julia has the patience for this to be manipulation, and I don’t think she could tolerate the challenge to her authority from anyone else. Julia does love Ashley. She’s just operating with the emotional toolbox of a child.
I still think Julia has work to do. She might lack instinctive empathy, but she knows what healthy relationships look like. And there are subtler things. When Ashley doubts in her ability to work at a top museum, Julia’s pep talk is that she will inflict violence on her detractors, instead of supporting Ashley’s own abilities. But it’s clear Julia is trying. Offering to sell Ashley was the ultimate vulnerable gesture. Humiliating that it comes back to Ashley being property, but sweet nonetheless.
They’re almost there. They had a good talk, but I think another one is still needed. Ashley needs to sort out exactly how submissive she wants to be, and Julia needs to learn that she can’t play the “because I’m your owner” card during a fight and expect it to go well. And they should probably finish dealing with the unresolved trauma Julia has inflicted. Then they can finally start setting some boundaries.
I like how Ashley is starting to find some enjoyment in Julia’s power. The “I belong to you, you belong to me” dynamic is very hot. And it’s interesting you mentioned protectiveness. I would enjoy seeing Julia’s strength used to protect Ashley from another futa.
The sex scene was great. I love how Julia is total physically impervious to Ashley, but can still be pleasured by her. I’m very curious to see how you pull off the cock vore without Ashley drowning!

I'm glad that I'm managing to convey Julia's feelings and difficulties articulating them in a healthy way. It means that, despite having to write in another language (English) than my native one, I'm managing it. Julia will keep trying, and probably get better at it, little by little, even if her efforts will sometimes blow up in her face. But that's how one's learn, after all.
Ashley being property is an important element of the setting, so I don't think it'll ever change - futas knew of the abuse that the Registration Act could lead to, they still voted for it to be put in place, so Ashley's life can't be used as an example of why it needs to be struck down. But that means that I have other ways to convey the power dynamics, so it's a plus in my book ^^.
Finally, regarding the cockvore, I don't know anymore when it'll happen... but it'll be a very important scene.
