Amazing chapter, looks like Ryemi is the most powerful being alive right now. She was by far the most powerful human so it makes sense that she would be become an extremely powerful goddess. Since Amara mentioned that Layla should be dead from all the divine energy in her body, I am going to guess that Fae has been regularly healing her and that's why Layla actually became friends with her so Layla isn't alone as she says she is, at least she has one friend lol.
Also yeah ryan will die of old age and mimi will remain alive forever. Still at least she has ryemi now. Though considering mimi has the domain of origin she could probably find some way to keep ryan alive, I mean genesis created two goddesses, chrophemus and fae, who could get over the old age problem. So if mimi just created something with a similar ability or something. I was going to say ryan could have just had chrophemus rewind his age every 30 years or something but that's not possible anymore lol. I feel like maybe mimi would be fine with just making the most of the time they had, until ryan actually starts getting old and ill, then she will go crazy in finding a way to save him.

Interesting theory regarding Fae helping Layla out, but Layla has already had the power of hundreds of goddesses in her back when she was still obeying her father, before she met Fae.
Some intriguing ideas regarding the possibility of giving a human immortality through a goddess's domains. I haven't really touched on this idea yet, but through Chrophemus's and Fae's powers, it can be speculated that this is very possible. Good catch on that!
Thanks for supporting the story as always!

Okay! im going to yap about the after story of this now, cause this battle is only the start of something more terrifying, an endeavour i know only ryan could do: mediate the relation between goddesses, he has so little time to do all of that, he'd need atleast five human lifetimes to complete this task. I feel like a story like that shouldnt really belong here as it will be a more down to earth story, but i think its going to be an incredible read if someone is able to do it....
Anyways! enough of being logical im now going to theorize what kind of goddess ryan would be if on a hypothetical he did become one, cause you know, its fun to have something more lighthearted on my reviews cause i think ived been a bit too serious lately. I think if ryan turned into one her powers would be more human in nature and so would have a human like trait, since i talked about him possibly being one of the few who is able to mediate the relation between both parties, maybe a goddess of contracts? contracts are something quite human in nature. maybe perhaps goddess of mediation as (s)he is the person who will ensure that both humans and goddesses come to a peaceful conclusion. or maybe perhaps... just, goddess of peace, to show the path he has paved for the people and goddesses...
But fuck that what if his(her) name is something relating to the end, kinda to show how mimi is the new start, while ryan is the ending to the old ways. I think im going crazy now so ill end it quick!
Hopefully i gave you a fun thought as i wait for tommorow's poll! Have a nice day!

Thank you for your interesting comments!
I never really thought about giving any of the male characters any special powers before, much less making them a goddess. In the flashback chapters we can see that men are unable to harness divine energy of any capacity without being vaporized, so this is probably not something that would happen for now. But it is intriguing to see what kind of ideas my readers have about goddesses and prospective domains. The trait of a goddess is important, but what is usually a challenge is coming up with the abilities that come together with it while conforming to most of the basic rules of a domain(e.g. a domain cannot directly affect other goddesses, with the exception of special domains like Mimi's).
For goddesses with domains that aren't as clear cut and straightforward as fire or water, it can be difficult to define abilities that make sense and are meaningful. For example, if there were to be a Goddess of Wealth, it doesn't feel that great for her ability to be to create money or gold, since that is kind of completely useless for a goddess.
Hope you enjoy taking part in the poll! It should end on the last day of January so try to make your choice before then.

Bah gawd that's Fae's music! Who knew she's getting such an important role after only 1 appearance. Now that I think about it, was it Layla who leaked Artemis' location to Fae?
I do feel for Mimi and her realisation that Ryan does not share her immortality. I wonder if other goddesses with have a similar epiphany and this makes them more cautious against building one-on-one relationships with humans, or they would become like Iggy and just live in the moment (who, by the way, was absolutely adorable with her moment this chapter; she really seems to want Lyre clinging to her body at all times)
I also like Estheia's recent character development; her actions seems to be driven by her loyalty (to Genesis at first, and her fellow goddesses given her conversation with Ryemi) which is a noble trait, but she is perhaps now starting to see that there is always more than one side to any story. If peace is restored, I am interested to see if and how she takes on a leading/guiding role for humanity.
Looking forward to the next one (and the poll) as always, although it's a shame to see this story end.

Thanks for the review!
Good observation regarding what happened at the end of the chapter, and about how Artemis's location was compromised.
As for Mimi's realization, it is a rather solemn concept that comes hand in hand with immortality and may be something I would like to explore further in the future. Particularly about how the fleeting nature of relationships are precisely what make them valuable to eternal beings like goddesses, preventing them from living a mundanely constant immortal life(which is also in a way connected to what we explored with Lista's death and the conversation with Chrophemus).
It is a shame to see any story end, but you will probably be able to see these characters again in a more light-hearted tone in the future(perhaps) if I decide to write an extended epilogue to the ending. And as I have mentioned in other reviews, I do intend to make more stories set in the same universe.
