Lucys return was awesome. Looks like she put the military training to good use or at least im assuming thats why her moves are so good. Having actual martial arts training is a big advantage. Though she might still have trouble against goddesses with powerful domains. But still she absolutely saved the day in this chapter.
Considering Chromphemus controls time which has got to be one of the most powerful domains, Im pretty sure she could have easily defeated clone Layla but then that would just make the real one angry. But still considering how powerful Chrophemus should be, I would like to see her actually use her abilities lol.
Also nice to see Chromphemus kill count being 0, I thought Lucy would also have a 0 kill count but i guess not, looks like Chromphemus is the only one who can claim that. Though it also shows how much of a calamity goddesses are when literally only one of them hasn't killed the equivalent of multiple massacres lol.

I'm glad you liked Lucy's return, I tried to make it as epic as possible and even gave her a new look.
You are right that goddesses are so massive that even the act of walking puts a tremendous risk to humans in their vicinity. But if you've noticed, we have never seen Chrophemus really leave her hidden dimension or even walk around before, letting her be able to claim her 0 kill count.

HMMMM.... it looks like im most likely right on who layla is, with her being the emperor's daughter, since 10 thousand years isnt that much of a elapsed time for goddesses, so its likely theres only have been 9-10 cycles of this.... though the only crack on my theory is how if thats the case, the daughter of the emperor should also have her entry since theres no way Lucy is older than her at this point.
On the other hand, Lets go Lucy! MY GOAT IS BACK! and that means backup! im hopeful that she was successful and she has bought backup in the form of goddesses willing to fight for humanity.
Super excited for next chapter!

Holy shit !!!!!! The great return of (spoilers) was beyond epic and damn what even is Layla at this point to be that powerful and scary holy shit
this sorta final battle will be huge (literally lol) and damn ryan is so brave and very very very lucky in so many ways.
I’m predicting either lots of goddess unite and Ryan is gifted with an unknown power to help in the fight like so super sonic, super SAYIEN !!! Transformation
will it happen probably not would be cool if it does HELL YEAH

Interesting predictions about the final battle, it very well could do down that kind of path or a completely different direction. You'll just have to wait and see.
And not to worry, in terms of actual content left in the story, there will be quite a bit more than 5 chapters worth.
