Damn! Kim is just ruining relationships left and right in this chapter. Her size has given her some ridiculous pull with people!

Her picking Jacob was a bit of a shocker, even with the hint last chapter with Jacob getting hard at her touch. It was a logical choice when you think about it, though. She knew Darren was basically done and that she could keep Valerie regardless of what she does, so why not destroy Candace and see if that reaction from Jacob might lead to something more. It's so manipulative and so far removed from what Kim initially came to the island to do, which is find love. That need to not be the doormat in the relationship has caused her to do a 180, and now she's the one walking all over people to the point that it almost seems like it doesn't matter who it is.

I felt so bad for both Jacob and Candace here. Candace was so emotional and felt so betrayed, even before Jacob actually did anything wrong. Kim thinks this is karma, and she's not exactly wrong about that, but that was obviously producer-driven (at least the more dramatic conpibents of it were), and all Candace did was find a dude so she could stay on the show. So yeah, I feel bad for Candace here.

And Jacob, holy shit! He went into the date strong, and I really thought he was going to be able to resist Kim. But that may not even be possible at this point. Hearing that Candace and he were already talking about kids, something you normally don't do this early in a relationship, shows how strong their bond was before Kim shattered it. Kim let him feel like he had some degree of control with the grapes teasing, but once she decided to take him, it was all over.

But perhaps the saddest character to read was Val. She was Kim's one trye friend on the island, and now she's basically Kim's puppet. It was frightening how quickly her anger about Kim driving Darren away just vanished at Kim's touch. The same thing happened when Kim ordered Jacob to eat Val out. Val thought about how little she knew about him and how Vandace might feel about the whole thing, but Kim's touch, this time used to spread her legs, and those concerns melted away, too. Val even chastised herself for ever second-guessing Kim, which was particularly heartbreaking.

I love Desi! She's so sweet and considerate, but she's willing to stand up for the people she really cares about. I was happy to see her comforting Aaron here, especially since they still have yet to really get to know each other. She just feels a natural connection with him. She was also really brave to question Kim, even if it wasn't in an openly hostile way.

Poor Aaron. Charlie was a piece of shit for making him resort that scene and making him walk past Kim. I felt terrible for him after seeing how scared he was, and I was happy to see the cameraman agree with him about Kim. I can't wait to see what their plan is.

But yeah, Kim's starting to become more monstrous, and that innocent girl we met in the beginning barely seems to exist anymore. It's been a thrilling transformation, and I'm both excited and worried to see how it shapes as she hits more and more extreme size landmarks!

Did I mention fuck Charlie?
