Well Nicole did an awesome job against the Tongs, tell me why she didn't stay with the government (keep your friends close your enemies closer...). She could of been do that to AQ, and other terrorists and having just as much if not more FUN. Other then as you state the government doing a mass caustiely event to kill her their isn't a whole lot they could do. If she was a hot a lawyer as you say, she should of played the game, gone into politics and became first president then empress (her strength, beauty and ablities it would of been so much simpler). Now the Government has a reason to two track(PR and really trying to find out how to kill them) it rather then PR with low-end/low-key research on how to kill them.
Just a couple observations, good story, thank you!

Well, as I will explain in further chapters, Nicole suspected that the government was working to get increased control of her, which is the reason she left. She knew she would be used as a tool, but also that they would keep researching on her, which is what she wanted to avoid. She actually has a plan on how to prevail, but it required getting out of the control of the FRU.
