Easily one of the greatest short stories I've ever read. I always wished there had been another chapter or a sequel.
Boy meets Girl at bus stop, Girl gets pissed and turns boy into shoe. An age old story
So far so great! I can't wait to read more, hoping this story will be a very long one.

*EDIT 07/16/20* Updated Chapters 10 and 14 AKA the ones that needed fixing. As well, some more chapters coming in the next few days. Keep on the look out for those, trust me when I say you don't want to miss them.
Well, Chapter 4 was great, but you say that there is only one more chapter. I can't help but be disappointed. It felt like the story was just getting started. I guess I'm curious to see if the ending will be happy or tragic. The story seems like it is getting cut short rather abruptly, which leans more toward something unfortunate happening.
I really hope the ladies are going shoe shopping!

Just popped in to say that I'm looking forward to reading the new chapter. And it looks like the story isn't over yet? That's great news! When I can take a break from writing my own stories, this will be the first story I read. I think I'll re-read it from the very beginning.

Hope I didn't scare you off because of a tiny bit of constructive criticism. Seems like this story is already dying off. That's fairly typical for this site. No judgement here.
Author's Response: Oh no, I’ve just been busy lately. I had to rewrite the next chapter as it felt a little too rushed into what I’m hopefully planning. I hope to have the next chapter out before the end of the week. Hopefully.
It would be really interesting if it turned out that Zavannah knows Marleigh, like they're friendly coworkers or something like that. Zavannah drops Jackie at Marleigh's place, and is surprised that Marleigh is hanging out with micro people. That could be a fun scenario.
I guess some readers are hoping it will turn into some kind of lesbian sex triangle insertion fest, but honestly that would detract from the story, especially this early in the story. Again, best criticism I can offer is don't rush it. I noticed more grammar mistakes in this chapter than the first two. Some of the wording was awkward and hard to understand.
I need to reread this latest chapter once more before I can post a full review, but I like the potential possibilities it brings to the table.
Another solid chapter! Honestly, I just want to read more. Don't even care if we have to wait a while for the "good stuff" to start. There's a serious lack of good stories on this site lately, but your story is good.
Great stuff! Hopefully Jackie will take a liking to riding the "bus". Perhaps Marleigh can even change Jackie's mind about mixed size relationships. Don't rush this one! Could be an amazing story.

Oh man, you don't know how much I'm looking forward to reading this! But I can't right now, because I'm working on a new story of my own. Figures you would drop a bombshell to distract me right when I start a story. I have it all swirling around in my head, and I have to start jotting it down. All your other stories are great. Of course this one will be too.
It was as I suspected, another great story! I don't want to influence your future stories by saying this, but the darker ending was fun. Doesn't have to be a happy ending every time, right? Carry on!

Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I too enjoy a nice dark ending, though at times they'rte a little hard to not make them into a cliffhanger of sorts. I'm not sure I have any endings in my stories that I'd call happy, they all end with somebody getting screwed over, but I've also planned some endings that ended up lighter than originally designed. This might be the nastiest ending I've done as the only character who wins is the one who deserves a bad end, I'm still working on a perfect everybody loses ending. That's the dream. Now that I have your attention! Please, please write a sequel to Humies! And make it sexy, no dead skin or dumpster feet. That would be such a dream to read. As always, looking forward to your next story. Sorry I don't review more often.

Humies as a single story (ie characters) is pretty much done, however I do intend to return to the concept and universe of the story. But at the moment, I've got no solid plan that would be worth a story
Understood. I've been there myself. Without a rock solid idea, stories tend to fall apart. I'd never pressure anyone into struggling to write something they aren't ready for.
I will say this though; I was thinking it would be cool to hear the story of the very FIRST dude to be transformed into humies. I guess that would make it a prequel. That could be a fun, fun story.
When four friends find themselves tiny while waiting for a fifth, their first priority is trying to get her attention. But when you're this tiny, you can't really hope for much, can you.
That's one cold hearted bit-- Uh, friend... She didn't even try to help them. Crush stories don't seem as popular as they once were, which is a shame. You should write another story like this, but longer! It would be great to get to know the characters better, before they end up underfoot. You know, as opposed to them simply being "red shirts". Looking forward to your future stories!

First, I am not sexualizing children. This story isn't about sexuality, nor is it about any kind of sexual desire of any kind. Stop seeing sexualization where there is not.
Second, there is no interaction with Melany's daughter, only her shoes, which is an object.
