This is . . . intriguing, actually. I don't know why I hadn't read this already.

Personally, I find the possibility of one of them having uncompromising ethics really interesting, so that Melanie could get increasingly angry and sadistic with them trying to get them to break for her. Given that, outside PCKR, I haven't really done infinitely-recurring tinies, I have had to shelve the concept . . . but I think you might do it better.

Welp, looks like I won't be getting much sleep tonight- good thing I don't work tomorrow. 

Holy hell, this was good. I've been reading along with the whole story, and I love the dynamic with Kira and Chrystal- trust, love, lust, and all that good stuff. It's enough to make THIS girl jealous she can't find her own, heh.

Seriously, though, you two work well together, and I can't help but be rather impatient for more.

I'm glad to see you writing again- you are talented.

I'm a bit of a fan of seeing the Giantess somehow being made to have a lower position than the regular people. It's kinda what drove my own "Of A Construct" before my forced hiatus.

Ahem. Anyway, I am beginning to feel a little sorry for Alani. At this point it's obvious that she's self-deprecating to the point of holding herself back, and that just . . . reminds me of a friend of mine. I just can't seem to build him up because of how long he's been put down by everyone. He's attempted suicide a few times, he's completely convinced he's utterly worthless, but he's one of the few people I will outright admit is smarter than me. He's creative, talented, and it just hurts seeing him tear himself apart. Alani reminding me of him hurts, because I feel powerless to help.

Now that I've spilled my guts to the Internet, I have to comment on the other elephant in the room: Carl is getting built up as a manipulative asshole, which means that you're going to drop the karma hammer hard.

Can't wait for Chapter 4.

Dropping the karma hammer without permanent damage (a nice touch), Alani's self-deprecation taken to its logical extreme, and the day being saved by the little girl of all people? 

You, sir/madam (Damnit, Drac's got me doing it), have real writing talent. If your depth of story were to combine with my friend's mile-a-minute rollercoaster of brilliant ideas, you two might take the entire world by storm!

All in all, a great story, and I only wish there was more of it to love.

Hmm . . . something nagging at the back of my head tells me that there will be another occasion where Claire/Seth is required to shrink, and Autumn won't restrain her curiosity as much. This will probably lead to a gender reveal, and thus the part of the story where things get steamy, awkward, or depressing, depending on the angle.

Don't mind me, just speculating. 

In any case, great so far.

 . . . Interesting, to say the least.

If you're still accepting requests, I was hoping you'd take a longer one. I just can't do sexual scenes right, and it's really killing me. 

Basically, I was thinking of a people-shrinking equivalent to the old standby, the psychotic stalker. Our main character has an extreme lesbian crush on someone at her apartment complex, but all the other tenants keep getting in the way. One by one at first, but slowly moving on to groups, she shrinks and murders everyone standing in her way, to the increasing discomfort of her crush. Once the two of them are alone, our main character finally makes her move, only to be spurned and pull the classic "if I can't have you . . .". Ending at your discretion. 

I love it thus far, and I think I finally have a request:

I had set up a party- chips and dip, mini-cupcakes, a light-up dance floor, and even a present of assorted scented lotions- to celebrate you coming back, but when I left the room to contact you some hooligans broke in and . . . ruined it. Don't worry, though, everything they ate or smashed up is replaced . . . I hope you don't mind my borrowing some lab equipment to properly punish such ruffians.

Now, on to the party!

Horrific? Boo. I rather liked it.

As for the story itself, I can taste that setup. I get the feeling that Kira isn't exactly telling the complete truth. It might just be lingering sentiment from the previous story where she was . . . well, I'm just going to drop her as a solid 6 on the ORS and leave it at that . . . but there's something about a radiant being that scales relatively lowly that seems fishy to me.

I can't wait for more!
