Zetans don't really have a concept of monogamous marriage, their gender ratio means most Zetan females end up sharing a male even if you might say that a Zetan male probably has a primary female(s) he spends most of his time with. The royal family gets consorts, which are males that are reserved for themselves and might be shared or loaned as a favor to friends. The consort arrangement is a lot closer to a marriage than the usual Zetan arrangement, but what's implied there is that Tayla intends to share him around with her social circle, and he might be "entertaining" about 20 guests at their party.

Nope, there are still plenty of people who are pissed about everything that happened, even if they play it cool for now. In moments of tension like this some people are inevitably going to snap and lash out, even if their target is an innocent like Kira.

I usually like to take a break on a setting after a long story in it, but there is probably room for more stories in this universe.

Yeah in hindsight an extra chap or two of Nea still being evil/mean would have been better.

The implication of the Cephalo-Human interactions is that humans had a spacefaring civilization sometime in the distant past, think ancient astronaut theories or the Forerunners from Halo, and human ancestors fought the Cephalo. The old cephalo missed us because he enjoyed fighting us and he doesn't have a lot of respect for his offspring, he's basically an old man on one last hunt as having been around to fight humanity the first time would make him hundreds of thousands of years old. The exact nature of this forgotten human empire and our war with the Cephalo is deliberately somewhat ambiguous, it's a mystery that might be explored in more detail in a future story.

The year of the story is also deliberately somewhat ambiguous, you can say that the Zetans invaded an earth "in the present day" so the story would take place sometime in the 2060s or 2070s. The initial war with the humans went on for five years, mostly because the Zetans did not take us particularly seriously and were trying to capture the planet (and the populace) mostly intact. The war with the Cephalo then would have gone on for a good 2-3 years beyond that, though low level skirmishes and incursions with them have been happening for the entire 40 years of the alliance.

I don't have a good Welcome to Hell idea in my head yet, I've got some One Year Lease one shot ideas but I also want to do something with the kind of giantess femdom you were thinking.

Yeah you might say the concept is a parody/homage to Humanity's Downfall along with other various giant elf stories like Philosopher's Boned. This one does take place in the same universe as my other fantasy stories like Diplomatic Mission and Saving the Kingdom for Dummies, I have a series page that should be linked. This particular tale takes place on the opposite end of Humanity's empire from where the events of Diplomatic Mission take place.
