A short story. You find yourself mysteriously tiny in the messy bedroom of a young shut-in girl, as she tries her best to turn you into the perfect worshipper.
This is wonderful. I hope you're planning on writing more.

Why yes, I am borrowing this concept from a story that never got off the ground.
I love this, it totally sidesteps the whole "how does shrinking work?" question, and has some super odd social dynamics.

The government has been carefully monitoring and regulating witches ever since they were first discovered amongst the population. Carley, as a talented young witch, decided that she didn't want to spend her life in servitude to those who were weaker than herself. This story is about her return to college, wanting to mingle with the humans after she mastered her powers.
This chapter made me wonder if you read the novel "Freeze Tag" by Caroline B. Cooney as a kid.
I can't say that I ever did. I wasn't much of a reader growing up.
