The Celestial Celtic Civilization was formed approximately 10,000 years earlier by Irish refugees, fleeing persecution of the neo-British empire, and the potato famine of 2150 which like the previous potato famine of the mid-1800s, resulted in the deaths of millions of Irish, and near annihilation of the entire Irish race. Those Irish who survived this new Potato famine, fled their homeland and searched for a new one out among the stars. Over the course of thousands of years, these Irish refugees built awe-inspiring emerald green spheres, which came to be known as O'Neill Spheres as the Irishman who invented them. The spheres were constructed of a transparent Titanium alloy, and were impervious to any asteroid impact, while being transparent and allowing an enormous world and population of billions to reside comfortably inside, with lush verdant forests, and farmlands as far as the eye could see. The Irish race would never again experience another famine like the Potato Famines they suffered in the mid-1800s and mid-2100s like they did under the British and Neo-British empires (respectively). In fact, karma eventually caught up with the British for their colonial mistreatment of Ireland and other powers, when in the 23rd century, the Neo-British empire was invaded and conquered by the Neo-Mongol empire, and British cities were razed to the ground by Grey Goo and turned into pasture for Mongol Robo-horse herds to graze on, along with the rest of Europe. The British empire would never rise again. But in the cold depths of space, thousands of light years from Earth, the Celestial Celtic Civilization that was formed by Irish refugees flourished. Though reduced to near extinction from the Potato Famine of 2150, the Irish quickly rebounded, thanks to the stereotypically high fertility of Irish women. Over the course of thousands of years, more and more O'Neill Spheres were constructed as entire star systems were mined and dismantled by Irish workers for raw building materials to build them. The O'Neill Spheres were linked together by long structures which appeared to be vines, which gave clusters of them the superficial resemblance of grapes, although astronomically much larger. After several millennia, the Celts had strip-mined every star system within a radius of about 1k light years and used this material to construct countless O'Neill Spheres in orbit of a star they named Nova Eire, in honor of their ancestral homeland back on Earth. Having depleted the minerals for construction over such a wide radius made it no longer practical for any further mining, so the Celestial Celtic Civilization began to turn inwards. Leaving the rote maintenance of the spheres in the hands of robots, the Celts began to revert to an idyllic primitive tribal level, much as their ancestors had before the time of the Romans. The lush forests and fields within the spheres provided ample food and resources, and the Celts lived a care-free life of leisure. After several generations of this primitive lifestyle, the Celts lost all knowledge of how their worlds came to be constructed, let alone the knowledge of how to build or maintain new spheres. Only the robots and the A.I. that controlled them kept everything running smoothly. But this idyllic lifestyle would not last forever. *** A few centuries ago, Min-Seo's people, the Koreans, had managed to throw off the yoke of the Neo-Mongol empire and assert themselves as the dominant power of Earth. After uniting the world under the Korean banner, her people began their expansion to other planets and star systems. So far a few dozen alien civilizations have been discovered, but all of them were technologically inferior, and quickly made to kow-tow before their Korean overlords in subjugation. Min-seo felt apprehensive as her ship propelled through the strangely empty barren expanse of the galaxy.  She was an explorer, and this region had been a mystery to her people's scientists for centuries. The mystery was why such a vast expanse of approximately 1k light years was barren of all matter. She knew this expedition would be long and there would be no opportunity for resupply, so she had thoroughly stocked her ship on supplies before departing from the last outpost, but now after several months of journeying her supplies were running low, and she feared she might have to turn around and go home without having solved the mystery of this barren expanse of space. However, a few days ago her ship's sensors detected a massive IR signature in the center of the void, and plotted a course to investigate. This sort of signature was consistent with what would be expected of a theoretical Dyson Sphere that completely encapsulated an entire star and harnessed the entire energy output of the star. Min-Seo's heart pounded with excitement. If this strange anomaly was a Dyson sphere, or Dyson Swarm, it would be the most advanced civilization her people have yet discovered, and all the credit would be hers. Klaxxons began to blare in Korean as her ship dropped out of FTL speed, to sub-light speed. This happened automatically as the ship's auto-pilot took over to prevent a collision with an unfathomably large object that would have destroyed her ship. This massive object appeared to be a planet, but it glowed in a dim translucent light which was undetectable from Korean space. Nothing like this has ever been discovered! Was this some new form of alien life? Min-Seo gasped in astonishment when she realized there were thousands... perhaps even billions more of these strange, dimly glowing translucent green spheres. There were so many that they completely encased a star, indeed like a Dyson sphere. Min-Seo's ship was dwarfed by even a single one of the vast green spheres, but even so, their appearance reminded her of a Korean delicacy known as Sea Grapes. Her mouth began to salivate at the thought. Even if these spheres weren't sea grapes, perhaps they were full of yummy food she could restock her ship with? She opened a channel. "Attention, alien species. I am captain Min-Seo, an explorer and ambassador of the Korean empire. I am low on supplies. Please acknowledge." she said in the Korean language. A few moments passed, and then suddenly she was greeted by the strange sight of a pale skinned woman with green eyes and red hair. Amazingly, the ship's computer was able to identify the language she spoke as something called "Irish Gaelic". Min-Seo was baffled that not only was his language in the ship's archives, but it turned out to be a language from Earth itself. Apparently this was one of the numerous Indo-European tongues which had dominated Earth thousands of years earlier, but were rendered extinct by the conquests of the Neo-Mongol empire, along with the pale skinned peoples that spoke these tongues. How this extinct race and its equally extinct language had managed to survive and even thrive this far from Earth is a mystery. Min-Seo had many questions for this strange red-haired woman. "Go away!" the red-haired woman's reply said, as it was translated into Korean by the Ship's computer. "But, you don't understand." Min-Seo pleaded. "I am low on food. Can you not spare some provisions for my return trip?" "I'm afraid not." replied the redhead in a stern tone. "Millennia ago, my people were driven to near extinction by the Potato Famine of 2150. From this experience, we have learned not to trust those who are not of our race, nor to part with any of our food. We were victims of British imperialism, and we will never allow ourselves to be ruled by foreigners ever again." As the ship delivered its translation of these words into Korean, Min-Seo's face contorted into an expression of rage and she slammed her fist down onto the console. "I do not know who this British empire is that you speak of, nor do I care. But you are talking to a representative of the Korean empire, and your insolence will not be tolerated. Kow-tow before me and my race in submission! You are now subjects of the Korean master race. You and all of your Emerald worlds are now belong to me!" The red-haired woman erupted in a fit of laughter. Considering that Min-Seo's ship was far smaller than even a grain of sand next to beach ball in comparison to even just one of the Emerald spheres, it wasn't hard to see why the red-haired woman did not take these words seriously. Not only that, but on a more personal level the red-haired towered over Min-Seo's height by 5'10" to a mere 5'1", and both women knew this. But Min-Seo wasn't joking. "Since you have so rudely refused to share even a tiny morsel of your food, you will now become my food. I will now finish what this British empire you mention failed to do, by making your entire race extinct, and I will do it by crushing your sea grape planets beneath these pearly white Korean chompers." Min-Seo chomped her teeth together for emphasis. The red-head woman ceased laughing. Could this strange foreign woman be serious? "Now, hold on... just wait a minute. Perhaps I've been a bit hasty..." Min-Seo puckered her lips and blew a kiss at the computer screen. She then bared her teeth menacingly. "Take a good long look, darling. These lips and these teeth are the last thing your race will ever see." And with that Min-Seo closed the channel. The ship's computer chimed to alert her that she was being hailed by the red-haired sea grape people, but Min-Seo ignored them. Her mind had now been made up, and no amount of begging or pleading could ever make her back down from what she was about to do. Her mission had been to seek out new life and new civilizations, and boldly go where no Korean had gone before, and then to conquer and annex said new life and new civilizations into the Korean empire. Her tiny, unassuming spaceship was equipped with an experimental new technology devised by Korean scientists to make short work of any civilization --no matter how advanced it might be-- if they refused to Kow-tow to her, or to the Korean race in general. This device was intended to be used only as a last resort, when all attempts at communication have failed. Obviously this was not the case, as the Sea Grape civilization was making persistent and frantic attempts to hail her, which she refused to hear. If her superiors back in the Korean empire new what she was about to do, she would face a court-martial, but thankfully she was alone out here, and no one besides her and these trillions of sub-Koreans would ever know. Min-Seo knew she was abusing her power, but she couldn't help it. She could not stand the attitude of this tall red-haired woman, and really needed to put this tall woman in her place (that place being in the digestive juices of her stomach). It also just so happened to be that time of the month, which also factored into her decision. If she made this discovery any time other than being on her period (or if the Koreans had sent a man instead of her), then this civilization might have been spared from extinction, but unfortunately for them, this is how it happened to be. Min-Seo smirked as she read the sensor report that revealed these colossal sea grapes did not possess any energy shields. This was the only thing which could block her weapon, and they did not have it. It was strange this race was so advanced to be able to construct these huge grapes, but very primitive when it came to defenses against such things as miniaturization technology. Korean ships, however, all possessed energy shields. This meant that when the shock wave of the shrinking Torpedo (which she just fired) hit her ship, she would not be miniaturized, but everything else in this system would be. Min-Seo was giddy with anticipation as the Shrinking Torpedo exploded in the corona of the unknown star, which, unbeknownst to her, this insignificant race called "Nova Eire". The Shrinking Wave worked by collapsing spacetime down to a much smaller scale. The concept was loosely based on the very same drive which powered Min-Seo's ship, but in a weaponized form which not only collapsed spacetime, but also any object caught within the wave, and the effects of this were irreversible. So far, Shrinking Torpedos have only been tested against uninhabited star systems, but the concept should work against anything, including living matter. Min-Seo once saw a shrunken star system trapped inside of a snowglobe on display back on the Korean homeworld. This system was uninhabited, but she was told that one of the planets in this system was full of animal-like alien lifeforms, and one of these alien species was well on its way towards evolving to become sapient like human beings. It might take a few hundred thousand more years, but in time a civilization would arise inside of this snowglobe, and be eternally imprisoned inside of it as it sat on display as enormous Korean faces peered inside at their tiny world. Min-Seo often thought of that snowglobe, and fantasized of owning one of her own; especially one which contained an entire civilization within. There was nothing quite like the feeling of power in having an entire race literally in the palm or her hand, or on a table as she propped up her weary feet after a long day and the sight of those petite Korean toes completely dwarfing their entire existence. The thought of this made her moist between her legs. This was the reason why she signed up for the Space Corps. As captain of her own exploration ship, Min-Seo had access to an arsenal of Shrinking torpedos, combined with the lack of oversight to be able to use them at her own discretion. Min-Seo's dream of owning an entire star system was about to become a reality, when, as expected, the shockwave of the Shrinking Torpedo expanded outward from the star, shrinking the massive artificially constructed spheres out of her ability to see them on the viewscreen. The Nova Eire star had also shrunk, and still provided radiant energy to the tiny spheres, but the star itself was about the size of an orange now. Min-Seo could replace her ship's reactor with it, to give her ship a source of energy that would last for billions of years, and extra thrust to make her ship the envy of the Korean fleet. This shrunken star reactor was a nice bonus, but the real prize was the tiny spheres themselves. They were so tiny now, that they were all pulled in by the immense gravity well of her spaceship. It was an intoxicating feeling to know that she was now the most massive object within a radius of a thousand light years. As the clusters of "grapes" were pulled in by gravity, her ship reached out with a chopstick-like mechanical arm and gently plucked them from space and placed them along with the star in a stasis field which allowed them to carry on their existence for the time being. In the meantime, Min-Seo grabbed a plate and some chopsticks of her own...

^Click on the link above if you want to download a video of this story which I made. I made this as a video, but no one cared about it and just told me to upload the transcript of it so I did and that's what this story was. Making the video was complete and total waste of time. But here is the link anyway for educational purposes. Let this be a lesson to others on what not to do.

I am making the story Round Robin in case anyone would like to continue it from where it left off. I probably won't because I am very depressed about the whole thing and the poor reception of the video after putting so much effort into it over several days and for nothing.
