"Man, I still can't believe how lucky you are," a voice echoed throughout the metal box. "She's beautiful, she's rich, and she comes with three adorable little girls."

"I already told you that she doesn't have any money," Lee scowled at the caller ID listed on his display. Keeping one hand on the wheel, he scratched his bleach white hair, "Her mom is the billionaire and she cut Saki off when she turned eighteen. The only things to her name are her three girls she adopted out of the kindness of her heart. I'm not even sure why she had to spend the night at her  mom's mansion last night. Not gonna lie, kind of sucks that we had to delay the honeymoon a day or three. I'm sure she can't wait for me to pick her up so I'm heading to her mother's now."

"Come on man, I was at the wedding and damn was it nice. I know that cost a pretty penny," the voice rambled on.

"You seriously have no idea," Lee began. "I paid for the whole thing out of pocket."

"You serious man?" The voice changed his tone. "I didn't know that you were Mister Moneybags now."

"That's the thing..." Lee sighed. "I'm not. In fact, that wedding put me in massive debt."

"Come on, it can't be that bad." the voice paused. "I mean, it's not like real debt right? You didn't..."

"Well..." Lee gave a nervous chuckle, "Yesterday I was standing at a high 5' 11". Today though I think I might be just short of 9"."

With that, a truck the size of a cruise ship sped past Lee's car. Picking up a puddle in its wake, a tidal wave hit his car, pushing it off the road. Lee got out, soaked to the bone and glaring at the truck and it's obnoxious decals, "Papa John's? How's the pizza boy richer that I am?"

With a sigh of distress, Lee got back in his car and drove the rest of the to his mother-in-law's mansion.

"Good after noon Master Lee. It is a pleasure to see you again," a woman spoke in a scripted tone. Lee raised his eyes to meet those of the voice's owner. Her eyes her hazel eyes fit well with her blond hair. She wore a revealing maid's outfit revealing natural curves that would make any super model jealous. This wasn't the first time that he had met the "family" help, but it was time in this new light. Looking up, Lee realized that with his new found height, he didn't even reach her knees. Even without help from her high heels, it would be too close to call. It wasn't just her however. The "welcome desk" as it were loomed over him like a small building as if attempting to intimidate any without class and the size that came with it. The side gate after all was built for a regular person in mind. Someone with money, just not enough of it. Now with his debt, Lee wasn't even that.

"Hello Lily." Lee faked a smile, "Now that I married Saki, you can call me 'Mister Lee' you know?"

Lily's glanced down at him for seconds without blinking until finally giving a reply, "Whatever you say Master Lee."

With a sigh Lee broke the awkward eye contact and looked down at his doll sized shoes. He looked up to meet her gaze again but was stopped in his tracks. As his eyes scaled up, he realized the unique position he was in. Thanks to Lily's short skirt, he had a perfect view of where her stocking met and camel toe played footsies with his eyes. Remembering the vows he gave just the day before, Lee snapped out of it and remembered what he was doing in that hellhole of a fortress in the first place, "I just came to pick up Saki and the kids, are they around?"

Lily blinked as if trying to comprehend a Doctorate's thesis, "You... pick up? Wouldn't the only person small enough for you to pick up be one bill short of ending up on the black market?"

The hairs on Lee's neck began to stand. The black market was the unholiest of places on God's green Earth. He always thought it was merely a rumor, the rich buying people off the black market, hidden within simple trinkets. Salt shakers, tins of mints, even snow globes could be used to import "illegals". It wasn't until Saki found one such snow globe in her mother's desk did he believe it. Constantly ravaged by snow, three poor girls were trapped inside. Saki stole the globe, found a way to safely open it, and in the end adopted the three.

"Mrs. Saki had to go make herself presentable. She and the girls went to get their hair and nails done. They had a big shopping day, surely they went to get new, more suitable clothes as well" Lily explained in an uninterested tone.

"Figures..." Lee sighed. Even after being cut off from the family's billions, Saki's mother always "insisted" that she prettied herself up upon entering the family home. Lee looked up at the know yawning maid for answers and a means to quickly end the lackluster conversation, "Is there a good place that I can wait?"

"Of course Master Lee. You shall wait in Mrs. Saki's old room. Of course, you may be the one needing to be picked up," the maid began down the hall towards the main building, leaving Lee to jog behind her just to keep up.

The silence was defining. If not for the tic-tock of the room's grandfather clock, Lee couldn't help but think he'd have gone inside an hour ago when he first sat down. It wasn't necessarily the lack of sound that was bad, it was merely a reminder of how awkward of a situation he had been put in. Deciding there was little left to do but lay down, Lee leaned back into the bed. He surveyed the seemingly endless field of sheets before him. It was a mess, everything was tossed around. It was just like Saki, she never knew how to make her bed. But now, thanks to him and his newfound financial situation, his new wife might fit on the bed just as bad as him. He felt a sinking in the pit of his stomach and sighed, "Dammit."

The sudden urge to be with his wife sprung up like wild fire. It was his fault. The two of them, and their kids. were now the size of dolls to normal people, barely even the size of a dime to the billionaire that lived in the house. Lee hopped up and walked to the edge of the unearthed field of silk. With another sigh he looked at the closed door. Saki had once told him all about how secure the house was. Her room was locked electronically, not unlike a hotel. The only people with the key to get in were Lily and Saki herself. Either way, the door would only open again should Saki come back home and Lily open the door for her. By the looks of it, Lily and the legion of maids required hadn't made the bed the past three years, why would they today?

"Saki never replied to my call", he moaned. Surely the maids were forcing her to endure "the works" just to look good enough for her mother to snub her. Enable to take much more of the panic attack, Lee felt he had to get away, had to hide from these downward spiraling feelings. He plopped down to the bottom sheet and crawled inside the top. After crawling for what felt like room's length for him, Lee barely made any progress within the sheets. His eye lids felt heavy as they shut, "Saki will call, she'll meet me here, we go and enjoy are honeymoon plus three. Everything will be okay."

As Lee saw nothing but the shadow of his eye lids, sweet and sweaty aroma rose from the sheets that began to caress his scenes. He imagined his wife as she grew up. Her modest body swaying, rubbing against the fabric as she laid peacefully. How did she sleep? What did she dream of? Did she ever imagine a man laying in that very bed. As the thoughts swirled around Lee's head, he felt engulfed by the scent.

 * * *

Thud. Lee opened his eyes. Lee signed as he checked his phone and verified his lack of missed calls. One of the maids must have been walking past the door, stomping their oversized "normal" feet around. Click. Lee jumped as her heard the last sound he had begun to expect. He got on his knees again and crawled back to the opening of the sheets. Thud, thud, thud. Lee's hand reached for the rim of the sheet, ready to pull it back thus exposing the world outside of the sheets. Zip. Lee's had reached for nothing but air. The blanket leapt from his grasp. The ruffling sound of moving sheet's came from every direction. He couldn't react fast enough. Even if he could, getting too close to the pulled sheets could be dangerous depending on the size of the bed makers. He pulled out his phone. Saki, he had to call Saki. As the phone reached her voice mail, everything fell silent. Thud. Thud.

"It's so good to be back," Saki breathed in relief as her blue eyes at last met with the end of the hall. Her knee length aquamarine hair swayed with each step until she reached the door. She reached down into the colorful bags by her feet, pulling out her key. With  wave of the card and click of the lock, the door opened revealing a clean and empty room. She picked up her bags and walked in. Not even bothering to once again drop her bags, she took two steps and immediately plopped onto the bed. In a single movement Saki rolled to her side and she swung her feet over the edge of the bed. With a simple shake Saki slipped off her sandals to reveal the aquamarine of her freshly pedicured feet. She pulled up the sheets, revealing a soft cocoon awaiting her entry. Unable to resist the soft touch of cotton against her toes, Saki pulled up the sheets and slid her smooth legs inside.

Boom! Everything around Lee shook. As his body bobbed up and down from the aftershock, his mind began to race while trying to figure out what was dropped on the bed. There was no time to think as whatever it was began to move. Ducking for cover, something missed hitting his body by not even an inch. Lee jumped back to his feet and grabbed the sheet above him, hoping to pull it up even a bit to get a better idea of what he was dealing with. Foo. A horrible throbbing shot up his arm as he was flung up in the air.. A light burst from the edge of the sheets, blinding his vision. By the time his eyes adjusted, he realized he wasn't alone. Each the size of a large automobile, a complete set of ten toes pushed their ways underneath the lifted sheets. Lee only had two options. He could drop down and hope for the best or to hold on for dear life. Choosing the later, Lee put the phone between his teeth and grabbed onto the sheet with his good hand. With one more shake of the sheet, another agonizing pain shot through his arm. Unable to handle it, Lee's hand snapped open.  Knock.  He didn't see it coming, his whole body ached. The landing was hard and wet, a terrible combination. Struggling to keep conscious, eyes reacted to the last remaining light, the phone. Unable to get off his back, Lee reached for the phone. As his fingers grazed the edge of the phone, the light was swallowed within the darkness. All that remained was the stench of nail polish.

How long had it been? Seconds became minutes, minutes became hours. Submerged in the complete darkness all around him, he was even unable to even see his embarrassing situation. The only reminder was the intoxicating stench of sweat. Even knowing there was little point to do so, he continued stretching his arm forward. If there was even the slightest chance of doing so, he tried to reach his equally stuck phone.  As he did, the owner of the toe began to move. Every twitch was like a hitting a speed bump for a man his size. Unable to reach the phone with even the tips of his fingers, it felt as though all hope was last. As these thoughts entered his mind, a bright light and weird feeling took him by surprised. The moment he closed his eyes, the sound of Lee's ringtone emanated. Without even a moment's notice, Lee was yanked from his parked vehicle. In less than a second, he was pulled from within the safety of the sheets. As it happened, he felt his back scrape against the now damp sheets. Just short of the feeling of whiplash, he was pushed into a bright room. As he tried to adjust his open eyes, he heard a familiar voice.

With a loud yawn, Saki awoke from her afternoon nap. She lifted the blankets over her chest, revealing her snow white hoodie and complimenting black tee once again. Her blissful smile went upside-down however and she glanced at her unlit phone. Verifying her suspicions, she didn't have any lost calls. Frustrated with the lack of attention on her new husbands part, she dialed his number, wanting nothing but to hear his voice. As she did however, a shaking feeling spread across her toe like an itch. Not even spending time to mull it over, she pulled her legs from underneath the covers. With her knee now to crossed by her face, she glared down at her toes now resting of top of her sheets. As she took a good look at the odd white discoloration a top her aqua nails, a smile crossed her face, "Is that you Lee?"

Unable to fully comprehend what he was seeing, Lee looked up in absolute horror. Towering above him was no other than his beautiful wife. His jaw dropped as it drooled of unspoken words. After a minute of playing deer in headlights matching her confident gaze, his view lowered to the height of her endless smile. He was so focused on her face, that he failed to see what she was doing with her hands. It wasn't until he felt yet another tremor did he notice a large artificially pink mass next to him. Unrecognizable at first glance, wasn't until Lee read the label before he knew exactly what it was: Nail Polish Remover.

Saki couldn't help but give out a chuckle. She couldn't believe how well everything was working out. Better yet, the fun began without any effort on her part. Bottle in hand, Saki pulled out a cotton swab from its bag and dipped it inside. Stirring it with a simple swish and flick, Saki withdrew the swab from within and lowered it to her toe. As she did, she tapped her toe as gentle as humanly possible.

The moment it collided with Lee's body, he felt nothing but numbing pain. Saki's seemingly soft cotton pinned him against the rock hard surface of the nail beneath him. Unable to  move even more so than before, he gave out a scream only to be gagged by piece of the white mass. The moment it happened, everything began to burn. Swallowing the leaking alcoholic liquid, he did his best to gag only to have his mouth filled with even more of the toxin. Struggling best he could, Lee did his best to combat his surroundings. After seconds of struggles, the mass at last moved. Catching his breath, Lee began to cough up the liquid. Before he had even a chance to look back up, the cotton again struck his body. This time starting with his legs, the sheer force of the impact cut at the skin, just in time for the liquid. Once again it left his body, only to collide with him again. This time however, Lee felt something different. Feeling began to return to his lower body. And as it did, he felt a twitch within his pants. Without time to ponder over his ill timed growth, the giant swab collided yet again and once again took the feeling from his legs away. With a desperate and unheard cry of help, the mess spread the liquid over his body one more time. This time as it left, something fell hitting Lee on the back of his head. Cursing his absurdly bad luck, he cursed only to find that what had fallen was no other than his phone. Arms free from his colorful chains, he reached out towards the white device.

Saki had always loved playing with her nails. While applying nail polish was certainly more fun that the remover, there was something exciting she felt today. Smiling even brighter than ever before, she gently rubbed the cotton swab over her nail its prisoner. Without even being consciously aware, she began to hum a catchy tune as she did her best to free her husband. After a few good rubs, it didn't seem to be working. With a sigh, Saki reapplied the liquid and prepared to apply more force, her phone began to ring. Dropping the cotton swab as if it was nothing, she grabbed her phone and answered with a giddy chuckle, "Hey Lee, how are you doing down there?"

"Saki!? What the deuce happened? Where am I, and why are you so big?" Lee began to ramble question after question, desperate for answers.

"Well, you see," Saki began. "My mother actually did leave me money. A lot of money. Like $4,000,000,000 worth."

Unsure how to respond, Lee fell silent, though that silence lasted only a moment, "So wait... we're rich? But how? and why are you the only one that grew?"

Putting her finger to her lips and Saki gave her trademark inquisitive giggle, "Well you see, my mom never actually disinherited me. You just kinda assumed that when I said I didn't get any money from her. Truth be told, she told me on my eighteenth birthday that the moment I get married and have a kid, I get my cut. It just so happens that as of last night, I've now done both. Oh, thanks to those papers we signed what's mine is mine and what's yours is yours. I have my billions, you have a nice little debt."

Still trying to put things together, Lee inquired of her again, "What happened to the kids? Please tell me they are ok."

"Well, you see," Saki began. Before she had a chance to finish, a loud bang came from the other side of the room. As Lee looked over to find its source, en even more violent tremor hit. Knocking himself off the safety of Saki's toe, he flew what felt like several yards until he hit back down. Landing on soft fabric, Lee gave a sigh of relief for his safe landing. He got up to view the source of the sound, only to find a fall of fabric where the more flat than not bed sheets once lay. Rather than white, the fabric on which he laid was now a violet blue. As he got back on his feet, his eyes met with white fabric once again. Atop this fabric however, two pieces of  yellow fabric gently rested. Eyes fallowing where this new fabric, he's eyes met with a familiar black figure, "A Dark Chao?"

Remembering the iconic shape of a Chao from Sonic Adventure 2, It finally hit him. As he watched the fabric gently rise up and down, he was able to recognize it as a white top to a sailor fuku. The yellow fabric was none other than a ribbon, tied by a Chao shaped loop. As the ribbon continued on, it wrapped around a blue collar, matching the fabric on which he stood. Looking back down, he realized landing none other than on a school girl's skirt. Even worse, as he looked up to find a forest of messy shoulder length light purple hair, matching eyes, and a wide smile, he knew that it was none other than his daughter, "Rie..."

"Mom," the girl began, not hearing a word of her shrunken father standing in the warmth of her lap, "Where's dad? I'm bored and you promised that I'd get a poor person to keep when he got home."

Keep? The word stuck in Lee's mind. In the short time that Lee had known his adopted daughter, he knew her as a prankster. Despite once being a miniscule black market "novelty," ever since she had grown to a human size she had become interested in the absurdity that was aristocracy. She actually mentioned wanting novelties of her own to keep as pets.

"Well Rie," Saki smiled while glancing down at her daughter's skirt, "If you had a poor person of your very own, what would you do with him?"

With a mischievous chuckle, Rie smiled, "I always wondered how a little person might taste."

Not believing what he just heard, Lee took a few steps back, unintentionally stepping back into the warmth of his daughter's crotch.

"Oh my goodness, you're so weird Rie," another voice bellowed When looking down Rie's legs past her blue and white striped knee socks, Lee found a matching pair standing of pink and white instead. Lee realized there was another in the room, Yui. His youngest daughter and Rie's relative by blood, Yui looked much like her sister, despite being taller and graced with beautiful long purple hair. Playing with a white and angelic Light Chao loop of her own, Yui stood in front of her sister. "I'd much rather trap him somewhere, like maybe even somewhere on me. Wouldn't it be fun to feel an itty bitty person trapped in your clothes? Like inside your shoes or socks?"

"You're both so immature," a third voice provoked. "How fun is a sock? If I had a say, I'd put a man somewhere nice, maybe inside my shirt."

Cupping her voluptuous c-cup breasts, Asami smiled in confidence. Unlike her sisters who were still in middle school, Asami was a in high school and had a distinct outfit to identify her as such. She wore a grey skirt and accompanying button up black jacket. Underneath was a white collared shirt, but unlike her sisters, she wore a black red instead. This matched with the two bows tied up in her hair, each of which keeping her waist length twin tails of black in check. As Lee looked into her deep red eyes, hers went from meeting her sister's to his own. Noticing her sister's sudden distractions, Rie finally noticed the itch down stairs, and peered down. After a moment of stunned silence, their mother broke the ice, "Well girls, as it just so happens you dear old dad has gone out and gotten himself broke. You know the rules, and now we have a adorable little toy to play with. Rather than seeing this as a bad thing, let's just call him 'fun sized.'"

At the reference to Halloween candy, Lee couldn't help but notice Rie lick her lips, "I know mom. How about we make this more interesting. We each think of fun ways to challenge daddy our own way. Betting on each game, we give daddy a chance to get at least the height of one of my figures. But if he loses, he gets to owe us money and he will get even smaller!"

Not believing his wife would encourage such behavior, Lee met the eyes of his wife with his own. But where he hoped to find concern, he saw amusement instead, "Alright girls. But you have to share."

As three separate sets of five figures reached down at him, it became bluntly apparent that there was nowhere to run...

Chapter End Notes:

This is the first of 4 planned chapters I've thought up. I've been wanting to write this type of story again for a while and with help from ETZ's contest, I finally became inspired to do so. While this chapter may forshadow those to follow it, some plot points are still up in the air and any ideas are more than welcome.
