Author's Chapter Notes:
Finally had some free time to finish up this chapter. It became longer than what I liked so I'll split it up into two parts. As always please leave a review and tell me what you think.
Chapter 31

Morning had arrived a little too early in Icarus’ opinion, but that was far behind him as he traveled down the road with Terra. It had been a couple of days since Terra had shrunken back down to her original size and the city of the dwarves only a few days away. Icarus was both curious and anxious as the day went on. Tonight was going to be the night that he would confront whatever it was that was following them.

Having lived in an abusive house for the majority of his life had taught Icarus a lot of things. One of these was the ability to steal small amounts of food from the cupboard without Phillip noticing. Of course he wasn’t perfect at it which had resulted in a particularly bad beating and Phillip buying a lock for the cupboard. It was because of this that Icarus knew that someone or something had been going through his pack at nighttime stealing food out of it.

He hadn’t been completely sure until today as he had laid a small trap last night. The trap just consisted of a single hair over the opening that had been fused with his pack by magic. The broken hair proved to Icarus that something was indeed following them. Of course he mentioned nothing of this to Terra as he thought that she would act too rashly in this matter. Terra had of course noticed a change in Icarus due to their connection, but Icarus was able to play it off as being nervous of arriving at a new city.

“So what do you think?” asked Terra.

[What?] replied Icarus looking up.

“You weren’t listening were you?”

[Sorry.] Thought Icarus.

“It’s okay, I was just saying that it might be a good idea to train you on how to defend yourself.” said Terra. “I’m not saying that you can’t fight,” Terra quickly said after seeing the look on Icarus’ face, “I’m just saying that it would be good to see what you’re capable of. You might find yourself in a situation where you don’t have access to your magic and I won’t be close enough to you.”

[I know how to take care of myself.] replied Icarus as he crossed his arms and looked away. [Phillip had me go out and find ingredients for weeks at a time.]

“Did you ever meet anyone while you were out?”

[Yes.]

“Without hiding?” asked Terra.

[Yes.] Replied Icarus after a moment.

“You’re lying Icarus.” replied Terra while pointing at her head.

[Fine, I’ll take the lessons.] replied Icarus.

“Awe, don’t be like that. I promise that you’ll learn a lot from them.”

Terra went on to explain some of the very basics on how to defend one’s self from a bigger and stronger opponent, but Icarus only half listened. It was a little embarrassing for Icarus that Terra thought that he was just some helpless kid that needed constant protection. He was the one to fight off the Minotaur after all. Icarus couldn’t wait till evening to show Terra that she wasn’t the only fighter around.

[Time out] panted Icarus as he fell backwards on the ground.

“I’d say that we’ve done enough for tonight.” Replied Terra as she tossed her stick into the woods.

Despite Terra’s best efforts to be careful, Icarus could see several bruises starting to form all over his arms. Icarus was dirty, sore, and exhausted which did nothing to help his mood. Icarus tried to wipe the sweat from his eyes, but he only succeeded in making it worse. He was starting to get frustrated until he felt a cloth being pressed into his face.

“There we go.” said Terra as she wiped away the dirt and sweat away from Icarus’ face. “Are you okay?”

[Yeah] thought Icarus as he stood back up. The truth was that he was a little bit disappointed with how the entire training with Terra went.

“You were pretty good for a beginner.” said Terra as she tried to comfort Icarus. “The first practice is always the hardest.” Terra winced slightly as she saw the markings on his arms starting to turn dark. She would have to remind herself to go a lot easier on him from now on. Carefully picking Icarus up in one arm and a pot of warm water in the other Terra entered into her tent. Placing Icarus in front of her she began to take off his tunic

[I can do this by myself] thought Icarus as he held onto the bottom of his tunic.

“There’s nothing to be embarrassed about.” replied Terra as she effortlessly removed his tunic. Soon Icarus was sitting in front of Terra with nothing but his underwear on. Terra began to hum a tune as she started to gently wash Icarus’ body.

“You’re starting to gain some weight.” commented Terra.

[Oh….yeah] thought Icarus as he shifted uncomfortably. His hands went to cover his stomach as he blushed.

“I meant that you’re starting to look better.” said Terra as she ran her hand along his right side.

When she had first met Icarus he was all skin and bone. It took her a little over a week to convince Icarus that it was okay to ask for seconds. Though still skinny, Icarus no longer had that sickly thin look. Terra winced slightly as she traced her fingers lightly across the numerous scars that ran down Icarus’ back.

[Are we done?] asked Icarus as he turned to look at her.

“Well, there’s just one more place that we got to get cleaned up.” said Terra as she gave a sheepish grin.

Before Icarus could react, Terra had shot both of her hands into his underwear. After pulling Icarus onto her lap Terra made sure to rest her bust onto his shoulders. Icarus tried to pull her hands out of his underwear, but Terra was too strong.

[Terra,] panted Icarus, [what are you doing?]

“Just making sure that every part of you is clean.” Replied Terra as she began to wash Icarus’ member even faster. A mischievous grin spread across Terra’s face as an idea came to her. Looking into the back of her mind, Terra found the sphere that connected her to Icarus. Placing one finger on top of the sphere, Terra enjoyed the feeling as Icarus let out a small moan.

[Terra…don’t] pleaded Icarus as he blushed an even darker red. To his relief Terra stopped her hands from moving up and down. Looking up he found Terra looking back at him.

“Tell me that you don’t want this and I’ll stop.” replied Terra.

[Its embarrassing] thought Icarus.

“That’s not what I asked.” said Terra as she stretched out every syllable.

[I…don’t want this] thought Icarus as he lightly placed his hands on top of the bulge that was Terra’s hands in his underwear. Icarus waited patiently for Terra to remove her hand, but he felt his breath catch as he felt Terra’s mouth beside of his ear.

“You’re lying.” whispered Terra. Icarus felt goose bumps starting to rise as he realized that Terra was monitoring the connection that they shared. “And one more thing.” whispered Terra.

[What?] panted Icarus as Terra continued with her movement.

“No magic this time.”

Icarus tried to silence the moans that escaped his lips with his hands as Terra began her relentless massage on the top part of his sphere. For Terra, Icarus’ moans were more than enough for her as she continued to tease her friend. Needless to say that Icarus was in for a tiring night.
