Author's note:  This is my first try at writing fiction.  It's a simple, self-contained "boy meets girl, girl shrinks boy" story without any major twists and turns.  I figured I would start with something small and straightforward to flex my writing muscles and get a taste of writing for the genre, before attempting anything more ambitious with fancy plots and actual character development.  Advice and comments are welcome.
