Now, this is a story that exceeded expectations! At its beginning I remember it being very promising but ... I had my reservations about it. Many a stories had really good and engaging starts only to end abruptly or lose quality on the way. Fortunately, this one is not one of them; you have trated it well and the story has grown amazingly (and grown up as well). You explored the emotional aspect of your characters' relationships masterfully and for that alone you deserve the highest praise. Moreover, you made me crave more and restlessly await the next chapter (I should really give negative points for that, it could not have influenced my health in any positive manner).

To sum things up: a true gem. When the tale comes to an end I will be looking forward to your next project.

Been a few chapters since I've reviewed, but I gotta say I'm loving the redemption arc we're going through now. Blair finally showing her hand to Daisy, no longer playing it close to the chest and really putting in an effort to change for the better. Daisy going through what many victims of domestic abuse go through, a conflict of whether to forgive or cut off from their life entirely.

They're both doing the right thing here by taking the process slow. Full forgiveness won't just happen overnight, or a few days; it may take months. Blair's first instinct to throw money at the problem was misguided, but at least it came from a good place in her heart, instead of a place of arrogance. She's just going to have to learn, and Daisy will have to teach her, that personal actions can have a much healthier impact than money.
