Smart play from Elise to acquire a new servant. Also a great way to impress her subjects.

Author's Response: That was a good guess. You weren't too far off. I had considered making Elise's mother part of the plot, but I have a tendency to make things too complex if I don't watch myself. There's always a very real possibility of creating a story that is so complex that it becomes impossible to write. I was planning to let this story sit for a while, but I had a great idea for the next chapter. I've never written anything quite like what I have planned. Should be interesting.

This whole time I've been suspecting she was the Queen's daughter, then after the reveal I was second guessing. Wondering if maybe she's the Queen's twin and he hadn't realized it. Wondering if she is the Queen's twin, does the Queen have the same reservations about squashing humans? Gotta say, that was a clevar way for him to get him into the casle. As always, looking forward to the next chapter
