The character dialogue should be a little more widely spaced apart from the narrative text. Otherwise, not a bad opener!

Yeah, I had it reasonably spaced out in my word doc.  It was all nice and formatted, then I paisted it into the writer and my formatting disappeared. :(  Thank you for the feedback.
