Holy shit...That came out of left field, though knowing what humanity is capable of, unfortunately I'm not surprised. I'm getting flashbacks of Contact with Jodie Foster here, when the extremists blew up the first machine. 

 

Only this is arguably a fuck ton worse. Grab your torches and pitch forks people, lets go huntin' for an attempted murderer! (who will get tried and secured due process under the law of course, wouldn't want tus to lower ourselves to his level...)
