This is a lovely story! It sends a message to those who always look for differences, rather than similarities. I, myself, am part native (Mohawk), and quite proud of that fact, and wish that others could share in Native culture. Unfortunately, the world is as it is, and there is little we can do about it, except try to set an example. Please try to write similar stories whenever you are able!

Since I am a fan of the more 'gentle' stories, I applaude your abilities to also write 'PG' stories as well. I have enjoyed some of your writing, most noticeably your 'Vacation Abroad'. It was obvious that you had researched the middle-eastern cultures at least well enough to make your readers feel at home in the storly. I hope you will do more such stories in the future.
Whenever I do a story involving another culture, I do my best to represent the culture fairly and positively. I'm happy I got that right, it was a huge concern going into those stories.
It's nice to write a PG story for a change. I just wondered what the reception would be since shorter stories are usually expected to be more sexual.

I don't know what to say except that I really liked this one! I am curious at how Aiyanna got so big too? Did she master painting with all the colors of the wind or something? Haha....that line made no sense in that movie.
