Well I'm glad you went with the age you did, because him being a teenager has really changed my view on his character.
As I originally though he was maybe 22-26, I just thought he was a selfish, lecherous idiot... but now i see he's just a normal teenager!
It makes me re-think his backstory - He's not a man who can't be bothered to face his problems, but a scarred and broken boy who sees Tor as a symbol of safety and stability.
No wonder he became so attached to her so quickly, even though he thought she didn't care for him at all!

Honestly! Tiny teenage boys just don't know how to talk to giant women respectfully! In all honesty, I'm surprised by how young Eric is, I had thought he was in his early 20's. I'm guessing Tor might be in her late 20's/Early 30's, but it's definitely cute how much she's taking her role as guardian of this little boy seriously - as well as how he so accepts his place as her pet!

Eric's age is something I went back and forth on as I tried to decide what was best. But I decided that he just now ran away, his father's pressure to marry can't have been going on for too long. As for Tor's age, you aren't too far off! I plan to swing her age into the story here soon. Thank you so much for your review! It's always appreciated.

"Julia gained boldness in Tor's absence and sat beside Eric" I think I might have an idea where this is going next... looking forward to it.
I wonder if Tor would have made the giant spit the people up had she known Eric was safe beforehand... Too bad she didn't know I guess. Well it does seem she is willing to help the group of people get to their destination at least, is she getting softer due to Eric's influence?
