This was a nice short story. I haven't been following too many of the new characters of Sun and Moon, so it's cool that you're jumping into the new stuff.
And I liked how you described the perspectives of both characters.
Also, that would make sense if the female protag was named Moon. And if it does become true, then you can say that you called it first!

Woo! This is the first Sun and Moon story I've seen, and I've got to say that I loved it! Always a big fan of unaware stuff like this, and of the colorful girls of Pokémon.
