I thought I'd throw in some sciency fun facts about what the size of the Omegas would be like from Oliver's perspective... If Oliver shrank to about 2 1/2 inches tall from his normal height, say a nice round number like 6 feet, that means he is now about 3.4% or 1/29th of his original size.  The mass of the average Omega who is say five feet five inches would be 65 cubed times her original weight.  To Oliver that would translate to about 275,000 X that weight.  So, a 115-pound Omega would translate to about 31,652,000 pounds.  So, Brooklynn’s advice about Oliver not wanting to get accidentally stepped on appears to be sound!

From a height perspective that would mean an Omega that stands five feet five inches would appear to be 157 feet tall.  I’ll leave to you to determine the sizes of other parts of the Omega’s anatomies…

Author's Response:

Kind of daunting once you start throwing the numbers around...

I had recently reread "Vesper's office" to refresh my memory about what Oliver discovered.  In his search, he found the box for making impressions of keys and now we know for other things.  He also discovered dozens of molds of tiny men.  I wonder if Oliver had opened the impression that had recently been made would he have recognized Cam's features? Would that have changed his approach? One thing Oliver did not discover was the wax replicas themselves.  Might each Omega that gives a wrist band to a young man get a keepsake after their victim has permanently left this world? A now life-sized wax reminder of his life or what became of it, or would that honor be bestowed only upon Vesper or someone higher in the organization?

Author's Response:

They are definitely keeping effigies of all their conquests. Trophies? Or, something else...

Oh, yeah! The "heavy-chested blonde" from chapter 16.

*Self-slap upside of head.*

Frigging middle-aged memory!

Fumble in the dark ya buncha cows!  Fall down the stairs while your at it!

Wait, so Harmony sat out the first two?  I didn't get that.  Okay, missed the first one, but why did she not partake in Bear's?  Gotta pay better attention.

Still have zero faith in the feckless little waif.   Screw her and her go-alongness.

It is so cool being a fan of this story....for people who don't appreciate it... oh well.

Peace,

pix

Author's Response:

My intent was for no one girl to be present at more than one harvest though I'm not sure off the top of my head if that's true to what I've already written. So in my mind right now this was Harmony's first. Remember we do see alumni attending to partake in the benefits of the harvest so it's not just the girls in the house.

For those that are fans I am humbled and pleased. :)

Gogblo... As TS said... There is alot to appreciate about the story.  For me... It's the depth of detail that the author includes in the story.  The clues left for the readers to unearth.  It's obvious to me that Duggernaut has done his homework. In addition, the author makes you really care about the protagonists.  The reader rises an falls with the victories and failures of the characters.  Conversely, the more we learn about the antogonists the more we detest them in spite of their hotness...

Author's Response:

Thanks for sharing your point of view. I have found some of.my stories resonate with readers and others don't. I am glad thus one appeals to you!

I have absolutely no idea, why this story has such an amount of positive reviews. the chapters are really short, and nothing of interesst ever happened in the plot ...

Author's Response:

I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. I'm sorry if this tale hasn't lived up to your expectations particularly in light of how.many positive reviews it has garnered. As noted by one of those reviewers I generally try to keep my chapters over a 1000 words but update frequently. Again thanks for the input!

You have to love the nonchalant attitude of the sisters after they have robbed another man of his future.  Never to ascend to a successful career or fall in love and marry or see the birth of a child.  All of it robbed from him.  All for a brief moment of bliss and the satisfaction the sisters receive at his humiliation and torture.  Their only concern is that their little toy has eluded them for a short while.  Once they discover his absence, Sersei resorts to acting as if she actually has some kind of personal feelings for Oliver moments after the ultimate betrayal.

So, that’s how the wax replicas are made, a direct cast of the victim before they return to consciousness and realize their fate.  The cast made by the sisters and crafted by Vesper.  Her coldness and callousness towards Oliver is on brutal display.  Oliver was never a person, he was an offering.

Hmmm… now we know that the men are an offering the question is to what? Perhaps the Omegas only have the power to summon the entity during the ritual.  The entity reduces the victim and releases the life energy…both are benefits to the sisters.  Where or what is the quid pro quo?  What does the entity get out of all this?  Something dark and scary I’d guess.

It appears Oliver may have found his way to Harmony’s room.  Based on Harmony’s reaction to the ritual and the subsequent reaping, I still am not convinced she is truly with the Sisters.  There still may be a glimmer of hope for Oliver.  For what, I do not know…

Author's Response:

It would be far too convenient for him to have stumbled into Harmony's right off the top. Next chapter deals more with Harmony and her fallout from the reaping. At Oliver seems to have a little.more fight in him than Cam

Hmmmm! I don't think I remember Monroe from any of the earlier chapters. Nor Acacia. Although, I do have a feeling that's soon going to change, thanks to that unpredictable matchmaker...Sarah Ann Dippity.*

*English translation: what could be the chances that Little Oliver just "happened" to pick Harmony's room to hide out in?

Author's Response:

Monroe has had a couple of walkons but Acacia is new. There are just too many of them... Too easy for door number one to be Harmony's just saying.

As much as I would love to see Sersei with Oliver, I can't help but cheer for Oliver's escape. Frost is right, this search for Oliver is quite entertaining and I think it's interesting to see something not go according to plan in this house.

Salt prints????!!! Lol, they must have been super tiny even on Oliver's size, so how does a regular sized person even see that?? If there was some magical powder from Oliver's body, that would make more sense, (or scents) but salt prints? Seems a bit silly.

I don't get what's wrong with Harmony, something's up. I bet she found Oliver. Sneaky little girl.

Duggernaut, I remember in your story, the contract, you had us favor girls who would stop powerful guys that thought they control everything. Now, I feel like the tables have turned. I somewhat want to see this Omega Pi house get outplayed by Oliver. Nothing like rooting for the underdog.

I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

A bit of a stretch I know using dried salt prints but I wanted them to know he was still alive and loose in the house. Seems like forever since the contract but I think pulling for Oliver isn't all that different than pulling for Jack although they are two very different characters. I do think the Omegas are much more ruthless than the girls in the contract though because they are deliberately taking innocents as opposed to picking off bad guys.
