@edexdexx. I read the story again. It is hard to find out. It is such an important factor. It would make a complete different story from the othe possibility. There are hints that she could have that power and how does that talent work if she has. Without effort or with some incantation or posion and/or preperation needed?
When I read from the moment they are shrunken in the house to the last chapter. Almost everything indicates that Asha doesn't have that power or her friends. But the way they act and are quickly comfortable with it can make you think otherwise because of the earlier chapters. It is layed on to thick with the hints that she/they have the power to shrink people. They could just be into rollplaying GTS/shrinking games and that's why there were such noices in night in Asha's room. And they already wanted to break him and with this opportunity and short time window and Tom the blabbermouth revealing everthing, giving Nick a real disadvantage, could result in this kind of behaviour/lie of Asha to trick Nick into doing something before moms comes home.
Nick could ask her to prove that she can grow him back.

Yeah i tried to weave enough doubt into the story to make the reader wonder, can she, or can't she? We'll find out in the chapters to come, :)

Like Barrowman I'm also suspicious of Asha trying to deceive Nick into believing she has the powers to shrink things. If she can do that, then naturally her leverage would increase since she could make him do what he wants with him under the impression that complying to her whims would make her return him to normal.

True enough, but the question remains whether or not she's capable of following through or not or if she's lying to instill false hope or enticement for him to yeild to her. Time will tell.

Asha is now deceiving Nick. Telling him that story seems unnessecary. I smell deception.
I wonder if Nick is in more danger if Asha has those powers or not. Both of these possibilities can make an interesting survival story for freedom. I'm not so much interested in people getting stuffed in asses or being eaten. It is useful as a means to vilify the women who do that or for revenge. Just so long as the characters feel like human beings and the story is good. Their must always be balance.

My dear Asha. The word "can't" implies inability. NOT unwillingness! Although, in this case, he truly was unable to tell her that he definitely wasn't curious. Still stunned, as he was, by the seeming unreality of his situation!
So, now, the only way I see left for him to convince her of his unwillingness is to be a literal pain-in-the-Asha.

Asha, your teasing,....so good! I'm so jealous of Tom! He is in heaven! I love how Asha just keeps him there.
Nick doesn't stand a chance. He will wind up in their clutches. I just don't think that Asha will want to let Tom out.
I totoly forgot about Asha's mom! I can't wait for her to make another appearance. I hope she snatches Tom too.
This chapter brings a lot of new possibilities. I can't wait for the next one!

Knew it. That whole nice act from the mother and daughter were suspicious from the beginning. The fact that Nick's father is with this type of woman is a total mis match.
