Postscript: my bad! It's evidently been removed from the Old Archive.

Author's Response:

That's a shame. I do enjoy reading about gum-covered tinies.

This concept for a story is AMAZING. It's such a good idea, I've never been more excited to read more of a story on this site. Please keep them coming.

PS I would LOVE to collaborate with you!

Author's Response:

Wow thanks. There will be more coming in the next few days.

Like Jimbob,I am amazed how much  little Tom care about being smaller & lying. It seems he's so used to that.

Author's Response:

He's definitely very used to it.

I'm surprised there doesn't seem to be a bit more concern for him. Compulsive lying isn't just a passtime for people. It's actually a kind of mental illness and is not something you can punish someone out of. In fact, punishing them will probably make it worse. Therapy is the only treatment for it.

Author's Response:

It's just the nature of the world these people live in. Many of them refuse to view compulsive lying as anything other than a conscious choice.

Going by Alaina's comments,  it's seems like teachers do lie and shrink? Any reason for that?

Is it because a history teacher mentions something that's untrue from a text or because match teacher getting a problem wrong, stuff like that?

Author's Response:

Alaina's comment was reallly meant as more of a general statement about the frequency of the average person lying, since most people do on occasion shrink a tiny bit. She's just gauging what an anomaly Tom is.

While I'm not too in to foot stuff, the idea of shrinking as a sin is really hot in a weird way!

Author's Response:

Thanks! The foot stuff is really just the beginning and end; other genres will be covered for the majority of the story.

Tom baker? I Didn't took you for a Doctor Who Fan. interesting premise!  why no one has hired you to be a published aurhtor or any studio hires you still bogles the mind. Will you write an alternate Ant-Man Sequal?

Author's Response:

I've actually never seen Doctor Who, so hopefully I'm not sullying the name of some beloved character. I'm not sure I'd be the one to write an Antman fan fic, but I'd certainly enjoy seeing one that used Evangeline Lilly more effectively.

By the way, did the mom not realize he lied about the food because he didn't want to hurt her feelings or does she not care either way?

Author's Response:

She would've preferred he tell the truth even if it hurt her (especially because she would've figured it out either way). Truth is just that important in this world.

If even white lies can make you shrink, i find it surprising his parents don't occasionally shrink too.

Author's Response:

It's probable that they do shrink a tiny bit on occasion, but they're much better at hiding it. Tom doesn't really have a way to conceal going down to a matter of inches.

Love your stories, especially ones with the in-shoe aspect.  After I read the first chapter I couldn't help but think there must be no politicians in this universe, or they are all the size of atoms by this point.  Anyways, keep up the good work!

Author's Response:

Thanks! The government is surely a very different beast in this world.

I hope you add some booty and ass gas lol!! Other than that the story is awesome so far! Good start and I can't wait until the next chapter!!

Author's Response:

There will be some butt content, but I'm not into writing gas stuff.

There's a delightful sadism in concepts that both give agency to people while punishing them for their own inability to manage it.

Very much looking forward to more.

Author's Response:

That balance is exactly what I'm going for with this story. Thanks for reading!

What an interesting and unique concept! This story already seems like it's going be a lot of fun. I'm happy I get to read one of your stories from the beginning and not start much later in the series like I usually do. I'll definitely be looking out for this one.

Author's Response:

Thanks for reading/reviewing. I hope you like what's to come.

Sweet! Another story with the main character as Tom. I can't wait to see what happens to me in this story. :)

The start is incredible. We learn about Tom's problem and how it relates to a version of what happens to pinnochio, but this time, you shrink. I like it.

I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

Hehe. Well, "you'll" be put down quite a bit in this story.
