Very well written. I like the slow pace and the effort you put in the suspicious atmosphere you convey in this story.
A few inches less would make things interesting!

I wonder how long it'll be before our protagonist realizes that something is going on. Maybe after a couple more cups of tea? And it seems my previous guess of the receptionist looking out for him might be true.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm! Something tells me that the shrinkage will start to become a little bit faster, now. Not as fast, perhaps, as the blonde receptionist's fate (if my first guess from the previous review proves true)! But, fast enough that the shrinkage of Our Hero will become more noticeable, a whole lot sooner, to him.*
*Perhaps even by the cliff-hanger of the next chapter!
