There is really something sexy about the idea Lina legally "owns" Tom.

Guardianship may be possible but you're right Tom's immediate family may have something to say about it. Hence the lawyer ;)

Thanks for the review. Lina's character continues to evolve and we get a deeper understanding of who she is and how Janine was shaped and like her youngest daughter she hasn't given up the notion of spending more time with Tom

I always wanted Tom to end up with Lina. But this...wow! I mean, she actually wants to take him under her wing.
I totally approve of this, don't get me wrong. I just expected more like a secret relationship instead.
Also, there is something sexy about the thought of Lina "owning" Tom. I mean, by law, he is forced to be with her since she is the one going to be "caring" for him. I bet Lina will take care of Tom just fine.
This is what Serena should be told. (Serena, Tom is just Janine's boyfriend, that's basically all that you need to know. His profile online shows his popularity among the women and that's probably why Cassidy knows him. Also, since Janine and Tom are in a relationship, it's why Lina has Tess's number, becuase Tess is more mature and responsible that Tom.) Can't Lina just say something like that.
If Lina decides that she is going to be the new caretaker of Tom, Miss Harwood could be the new teacher by law for him. What I mean, is that what if Miss Harwood is does some legal thing to be a teacher specialized to teach Tom everything from physical education to sex ed. :)
So many good ideas developing from this chapter. Especially about this "owning" Tom thing. Seriously, good word choice. I love how she used that term, it gives me other ideas.
I can't wait for the next chapter!

Sooo many ways to go but I have to be careful not to get lost in it. I have become tangled up in a couple of my other stories which need to be corrected before completing them.
