Oh man is it bad that I suspected that the opperator was gonna turn out to be one of the two ladies? xD
Suspected it when the opperator was described as a woman, became 90% certain after the steady buildup of the operator trying to get John's exact location xD
Oh well, looks like underdog Charlie may well get to be the last little guy standing (in a manor of speaking ^_^;)
Here's hoping he wins a happy ending for his success! :D

Wow! I completely misunderstood that last part.
So Simone was the operator! What the........Wow! I mean, that is some incredible backfiring strategy to John. He wanted to get help, but instead it just got worse.
My other review now looks stupid, haha. I will just leave it there so I will remember how I misunderstood it.
Charles is probably thinking, "Wtf, she's talking to John, and he thinks he is calling 911! We messed up big time." (Actually John just messed up.)
Looks like Charles is the last man standing. I can't wait for the next chapter!

No worries Tom, I deliberately wanted to mislead readers and spring the surprise ending on everyone. the girls are stepping up their game and John is a sitting duck, :)

Yep, John is right. One patrol car is not enough.
Haha, I can't blame the operator for giggling. I mean, if someone said that they were in a pocket of some jeans, then I would think they are crazy despite how convincing they try to be.
Probably should send in a seat team as well. Even that might not be enough.
I don't get that last part with Simone. Might need to clarify that. Did Simone have Charles's phone and is impersonating him as she calls 911? Is she going to call them and tell the cops that there is nothing going on? I think that would raise suspicion instead. She better choose her words carefully. Oh, what am I saying. She probably wants more cops, so more toys to play with.
I still wonder why she called 911 at the same time as John. Did she sense him calling, so she called 911 as well to give the police other info? I know Simone is up to something, and I'm kinda excited.
I can't wait for the next chapter!
