I just wanted to quietly reiterate my tacit approval of your story. Thank you for writing. Not much else I can or want to say. You're a good writer. Some day soon, I'll begin to contribute a science fiction story of my own; I've had the idea for years but your story is inspiring and it spurs me to continue writing it.

Good chapter! Vera, so far hasnt shown any characteristics that seem "otherworldly" or something, I dont think any of these giants have. They wanna screw around and do as they please with creatures smaller than them, and they care about their own lives. The only characteristic they have that humans dont is that they dont care about others, but even this is kinda iffy as to whether they do or not. I dont know, maybe im jumping ths gun here but they arent THAT different from human sociopaths.

You are correct! I meant for the ending not so much to suggest that they might not be humans but rather that Ellis has no berings to understand them.
