By mathematical induction, this implies that there are an infinite number of fish forming a countable set.  Since fish do indeed have volume, this again implies infinite space.  While the argument may hold, assuming an infinite number of worlds that do support acquatic species similar enough in nature to be called fish, in the relevancy of one planet, it is inherently flawed.

Patience is a virtue, and while the introduction and plot development of multiple characters is not always sexy or thrilling, I plan to make it all worth the read.
