Good job on making a lurker come out of lurking. I hope that you find the inspiration you need to continue this story given that the characters in this story are some of the best written characters in my opinion.

This has to come back! You've gone on to write some great stories after this one, but the Sam/Lyria dynamic remains one of my favorites.

Hi. Just wanted to know when you're resuming this series. It's been nearly two months. Do you plan to get back on it when you're finished with "Adrift"?

I recently played Shdowrun:Dragonfall and was really impressed by that games storyline and setting. Too bad it had no romance or any sexual parts though...

Well nevermind.;) Glad to see a story here based on that setting. Really enjoy a shrinking story with some more story, than what you get usually here.

Personally I was a bit turned off by some females shrinking and being tortured too though, since I like it when that kind of treatment is solely reserved for us lower males. ;P  But well just my personal taste and I still enjoyed the parts greatly when Sammie is used by his elven owner.

Really looking forward to the next chapters now and I hope our "hero" will further work on his skills to please his owner and well her female friends when required. :)

Aha I knew there was something off with Sally! Seems like she has an even more removed and sadistic view of the tinies than Lyria despite her cheery demeanor. Really scared for Sam now, I wonder what Lyria would do if she found out Sally did something truely cruel to him.

I am still waiting on your next chapter.. and I would like to know what you have planned.

I also want to know why Lyria was so afraid of anyone finding out, if she could convince them that they were in deserving of their punishment.

Hey, it's me again.

Just wondering how the 25th chapter's coming. It has been over two weeks now.

Have you got something big planned?

So, you're saying that Lyria is being completely honest? Acting like she's the victim here? Or did they have a good reason to screw her over?

I mean they can't help it if it's their job, right? And how does that justify Lyria's actions?

So, my problem with Sally is that she can accept her partner's sociopathic actions, so simply, and not feel even remotely conflicted. If she had simply killed them, then I would have seen how Sally could have understood that.

But she has tortured them, brutalized them beyond belief, even eaten them out of pure spite! Is Sally almost as sadistic as she is? That's the only she could rationalize Lyria's actions, in my opinion.

As for Sam, I can get that he would be subverted. But to this degree is impossible. He was one of the devoted loyal Shadow Runners, right? He would not became her slave through some twisted form of love. The only way, he would serve her is through fear. In fact, I figured that he could take advantage of Lyria's weakness towards him, her sick affection for him as a human dildo.

So you have him turn down freedom for nothing.

How much more are you gonna go, already? I have enjoyed the suspense of the prisoners. I have beared the constant masturbating, the vore and the reckless abuse that Lyria has inflicted on her victims... but enough is ENOUGH!!!

You've already milked the sex slavery of its worth. Now it's all cut-and-dried and I don't see it being anymore fun if Sally joins in.

It's time for a change in setting, and a change in dynamics. Have them escape, have them get eaten, have Sam finally break free of his desire to be Lyria's doormat.

Anything but the same old, same old.

Author's Response:

I never said it justified her actions. She is most certainly a bitch and a fairly cruel individual however she probably wouldn't be in charge of a facility that makes liberal use of sentiant beings as test subjects if she wasn't.

As for Sally, possibly. I won't touch on that at the moment.

So, Shadowrunners aren't exactly what you would call loyal. They are criminals, outcasts, dregs of society usually. They make their living on espionage and skirting outside of the law. Its not like he was a part of some grand order, most shadowrunner cells are loosely connected at best. Though you do make a few valid points on some things worthy of thought.

Stagnation can lead to dull situations, of that much we are in agreement. I won't sit here and pretend something is flawless if its not. I will give the matter some thought.

The story is interesting to say the least.

What I can't understand is why (1) Sally is such a bitch, and (2) how she could be so dumb to fall for Lyria's crap.

(1) She doesn't actually let Lyria have her fair say of things and she is rather rude to her even before believing Lyria

(2) She just decides to believe Lyria even though she has zero proof.

The most shocking thing is that Sam, when presented an opportunity of freedom, decides to turn it down! He's such a pussy!!! Nothing like the guy he was when he became a ShadowRunner.

It seems now that Winona's only hope is to trick Lyria into unkwnowingly confessing the truth.

Author's Response:

Well, there are rude people in the world. I'd classify her as more crass than anything else. Seems more to me that Lyria is faaar more of a bitch than her though that might be a matter of opinion.

As for her falling for Lyria's crap, technically she isn't lying. They screwed her over and she opted for this method to handle them so she already confessed the 'truth' as it was. As this is the sixth world wierd stuff does tend to happen, they have vampires running around and flesh eating ghouls that exist in the sewers. To say nothing of the street mages, dragons, and cybernetically enhancements. Really it was Win who was concealing the truth, as she did not inform Sally why they were like they were.

As for Sam, I'd certainly say Lyria emasculated him. What can I say, I am a fairly cruel person to most characters I write. If he just had a nice time cuddling with Lyria and never went through change (good or bad) it would be boring in my opinion.

Well Lyria sure wormed her way out of that situation, with Sam's help of course. Now I'm worried about how Sally might "handle" Sam though. Its uncharted territory for him and Lyria going forward. I feel like Lyria is less and less likely to really abuse Sam, but Sally is an unknown quantity.

Author's Response:

Always fun to throw a monkey wrench into the works. Keeps people guessing going forward!

Wow, wasn't expecting this to happen on Sally's first day in the appartment! Something tells me things are about to get very problematic O.O  I wonder if Sally has it in her to accept Lyria's darker habits. Winona is also about to get the most sever punishment ever I'd imagine.

Wow, Leth's gone and we hardly even knew him. Now I'm curious if the same is to come for Winona or if we are going to get to see her go through a dramatic character change. Wasn't expecting that so soon, Sam being opposed to it, but agreeing in the end shows his true devotion to Lyria. He must be feeling relieved he never tested her limits in such an overt way as Akane or Winona.

Author's Response:

I know, poor guy. Ah well, at least Lyria got a meal out of him. Really, thats the important thing. :p

Wow Sam had to have balls to try that with Lyria. If she didn't like it so much I'd imagine he could have been in for a very painfull punishment. Not sure how I feel about Sally wanting to move in. If that happens its going to effect the dynamic of Lyria's appartment drastically. Maybe Sam will finally get his wish and move into Lyria's bedroom though. :)

Author's Response:

Heh, certainly. I imagine she's still considering it.

Can't have Lyria get too complacent, now can we? Need to keep her on her toes. It would get dull if she had nothing to stress about or worry about.

I'm a huge shadowrun fanatic.  I've pretty much sworn off of most other RPGs for SR.  I must say you are doing the shadowrun setting justice.  There are things I could nitpick, but overall it certainly feels sixth world.  If you don't mind me asking, where have you been getting your setting info from?  I know Yamatetsu changed their name to EVO in the later versions of the game which is why I ask.

As for the story.  Loving it.  Loved the vampire character.  Loved the initial shrinking scene and examination.  Even the non fetish stuff in the beginning is as exciting as any of the shadowrun novels I've read.  Keep it up and I hope this story lasts a long time.

Author's Response:

I actually ended up getting introduced to it through the game Shadowrun Returns. I'd never heard of the setting before that so I ended up digging into it on online wikis after playing it and then Dragonfall and found the setting to be utterly fascinating. I've been pondering trying to get into the Pen and Paper of it, though I'm still knee deep in Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader. Most of my info is probably outdated as I actually had no idea about the change from Yamatetsu to EVO and the move from Japan to Russia. So you probably know way more than I haha. Still, I'm happy I could at least convey the setting despite some discrepancies.

Heh, I actually had stumbled across the HMHVV lore a bit before I had thought up the character. I had been intending on her just being some decker, but I wanted to play around with the disease briefly and how most people would probably consider them kind of like monsters in the closet.

Thanks for the review and hope I can keep your interest going forward!

That's some bonafide Stockholm Syndrome. I'm absolutely loving this story.
I'm also really digging the interactions between Sam and Lyria. Like how Lyria's ire was drawn when she noticed Sam's bruises from the troll Winona.

Does Lyria realize the ramifications of basically saying Sam was her vibrator and could never compare with Sally.. That little remark could've crushed his already fragile psyche making him slowly fall into a downward spiral of which there is no escape, but that didn't happen because as we've learned. He loves her. I wonder how long it takes her to realize.

Adding the conspirators to her collection instead of killing them was genius. I personally can't wait to see Winona break and I wonder how Akane feels about this because she's very hard to read.

aaron
PS I like that these later chapters were longer, too. This should go without saying but the shower scene with Lyria and Sam was perfect.

Author's Response:

I imagine she has gotten used to saying humiliating things to him by this point. She probably didn't consider the damage that could do as she is hardly perfect. Or because she simply didn't care. Depends on how you look at her really. I do like leaving things open to interpretation at times. ;)

I'd pondered her just killing them but thought, 'nah, too quick and clean.' Can get plenty more mileage out of them like this.

I enjoy putting out longer chapters as well, just feels like a bigger chunk of content.

Aww, I kind of expected that Sam's feelings were starting to evolve in that direction towards Lyria. Instead of being in the friend-zone he's in the pet-zone. I was glad to see that Lyria is at least treating him with a more tender touch now. What a tough spot he's in though. I can't wait to see where you go from here.

Author's Response:

Certainly got his work cut out for him, that much is for certain. Considering this is Lyria we're talking about.

Hey, sorry I wasn't able to write a review earlier. I've been out of town and really digging your story on my phone. Every day I've been looking forward to the next chapter. I'm a big Shadowrun fan so the setting is already up my alley. Lyria is like the perfect dominant character as well. You are going to think this is funny, but I feel like Sally is the primary antagonist right now lol.

I really have empathized with Sam with the way he tried to resist Lyria as I feel alot of men would in that situation in real life. Now I feel like just as he was starting to feel close to Lyria Sally is pulling her away. And at the same time Lyria now has 3 other pets and I'm intrested to see if she will treat them any differently going forward. If I was Sam I would be questioning whether Lyria see's me as any different from them when they willfilly and knowingly wronged her. While he was tricked and his friends died in the process.

I'd consider myself typically a hopeless romantic while reading these stories so I'm hoping Sam can convince Lyria to see him as something more than a Pet going forward. I'm also keeping my eye on Sally, I'm thinking (hoping) she might turn out to be evil and stab Lyria in the back. For the quality of your writing I'm amazed how fast you are churning out chapters. Keep up the great pace!

Author's Response:

Hey, thanks for the review. Honestly I'm a tad new to the setting of Shadowrun myself so I hope I didn't overly butcher the setting haha. Honestly I was initially pondering something Warhammer 40k related as my first story on the site but then after thinking a bit about this scenario I figured 'hey, why not Shadowrun?'.

Good to know you find the characters rather pleasing as well. The pace hasn't been overly hard, actually a bit of a fun challenge to get out chapters as fast as I can.

Hope I can keep up the quality going forward!

Whoa.. What an intriguing turn of events. This story has it all, literally. From the cryptic way Lyria speaks about how she'll handle this insider(s) situation I have a feeling like she'd enjoy shrinking this person or persons down like Sam was. If it's any consolation I hope one of the saboteurs is that Asian woman who first handled Sam at his shrunken size(that is purely me thinking of what I'd like to see though).
Personally having Xana kill the guy who's giving Lyria so much trouble would be fabulous. That prick deserves some kind of negative karma coming to him at any rate.

I'm still get a kick out of the dynamic of Lyria and Sam's characters.
This story is absolutely fantastic and my only regret is not commenting more.

aaron
PS I also like the sensual foot/toe play.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the comment, aaron! Good to see I managed to keep up the interest in the story. Heres hoping I can keep it with the future chapters to come.

I'll admit I'm not confident in my more sensual writings so good to hear you like them!
