Think Jessica overreacted too much, she only failed once. If she had still gotten the same result after several runs then its fine but first try is a little too much.

Hmm. This story is as well written as your other ones but I kinda feel like a prequel is redundant since we all know how things are gonna end up. That flashback we got in the original story about how Jessica came to be a GTS was really the most important thing we had to know.
If anything I'd prefer a sequel since we know that in the future Jess will have a GTS daughter, and from there its all up in the air what will happen. I don't think you should shaft this story if it's what YOU want to write, I mean at the end of the day you make the calls, but I personally was really into your spin off story. It felt almost like a completely new universe (with similar character) and that was super exciting to me...
Anyway, good luck with your writting. I may give this another read but no promises.

Thanks for the feedback my friend. I felt that there needed to be more about Jessica's past and a few things mentioned in the main series will be focused on. I had a few people who wanted to know how Jessica got stuck being a giantess and also what happened between her and Alicia. Don't worry there will be sequel stories that are being planned between myself and Nostory, we have ideas that will last a good long time where Dawn is at the centre.
As soon as I have finished this story I will write another arc of BFG Angleland so that story isn't dead either.
