What happened to Butler One and Wildstar???

Author's Response:

Well that gives me scope for another new story later, I guess.

I suspect the light is temporarily converted into anti-tachyons (which would hypothetically be able to travel forward through time).*

*Most conventional particles of matter seem to have their oppositely charged counterparts. So, why shouldn't tachyons (which hypothetically travel backward through time)?

Author's Response:

Now we're getting down to brass tachyons.

So, this poor guy's people can only survive in our atmosphere for 40 days? Or, do they have the lifespan of mayflies in general?

Author's Response:

I'd say the mayflies comparison is the closest.

Well, it's either an astral projection from the Dream Dimension. Or, a sentient photonic energy being. Those are my two best guesses...and I'm sticking to them. ;-)

Author's Response:

Looks like I truly came up with an original idea that's going to surprise. Your second guess is closer though.

I figured you'd appreciate the Filmation Superman reference. :-)

Author's Response:

It was a black pearl of wisdom. LOL

Holy Japanese Sandman, Batman!

Author's Response:

Wasn't the Japanese Sandman in a Superman story of Filmation's 1968 Batman/Superman Hour? Unless you mean Michael Rennie as the Sandman that teamed with Catwoman? Ironic really, two TV villians facing DC heroes, when DC actually created the Sandman as a Golden Age hero, who didn't come close to TV as a hero until the Nightshade episodes of the 1991 Flash show.

Oh, I get it. This is a dream!*

*Sort of like the whole 11th season of the original DALLAS. ;-)

Author's Response:

Ha ha. Well you've sort of got it. It'll come out in the next 2 chapters or so.

Where are they, exactly? The Australian version of Wonderland?

Ah, well! Happy Holidays from Up Over!!

:-)

Author's Response:

That'd give too much away. It'll soon be explained.

Actually, I agree with LOSA. There's nothing more agonizing to the human male nervous system than adolescent female giggling. In fact, if the KGB had been able to bottle such giggling, and used it to interrogate captive CIA double-agents?

The Soviet Union might very well have _won_ the Cold War.

Author's Response:

Well, they could have tape recorded it and looped it through the speakers of the interrogation room.

Actually, I meant "Magic Wanda" in the purely stage-mage sense. Using just the same kind of special effects that real-life magician Georges Melies pioneered for silent movies!

Author's Response:

Did you notice the way in the DCAU, Zatanna went from using mere sleight of hand tricks (in Batman: Zatanna) to actually pulling a shrunken man out of her hat (in JLU: This Little Piggy). I also liked the sight of her holding a shrunken caged Abra Kadabra in Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Putting aside the method, I find those images are as appealing to a giantess vore fan as the sight of Wonder Woman popping Atom between her breasts in JLUL Dark Heart.

"Anticipation! Anticipa-yay-tion is makin' me wait. It's keepin' me wai-yay-yay-tin'."

Sorry; couldn't resist.

Author's Response:

Now I think I'd like to be shrunken and giftwrapped and delivered to a certain woman for Christmas.

Moral of this subplot?

"All's well that ends in a well."

;-)

WELL that wasn't DRY humour, was it?

I guess that answers that one, too.

Author's Response:

I guess you've been TIPPED off to the plot. I was at Girlfood's Forbidden Dish restaurant once, and the waitress asked me for a tip. I said, "I guess you could change the colour of the tablecloths."

So, does this mean the subterraneans are descended from these time-travelers?

Author's Response:

Nope, but it looks like you've caught up this whole story in a few days.

So, it was basically a magnetic power surge that caused the missiles to launch themselves? Seems a bit over-simplistic. :-(

Author's Response:

Not even a power surge. It's just that there was a scientific attraction (similar to magnetism) between the missiles and the ships that they hit. The magnetic force drew the two together, with the lighter and smaller missiles being the objects that actually moved. Both sides assumed that they'd somehow launched, when in fact they flew under attractive pull.

I say it was a cloaked ship called "the Colonel Mustard" with a retro-rocket powered nudge.

Author's Response:

Actually Miss Scarlet shrank Professor Plum and put out her thumb and ate him in the dining room, illuminated by the candlestick, while Homer and Bart Simpson were off play Clue-Doh somewhere else.

A superheroine telling lies???

GASP!

Author's Response:

She'd have rationalized it as merely hiding what remained to hide of her secrets after being stalked and somewhat found out by the reporter. I suppose I wanted to put a female superhero in the position Clark Kent has often faced with Lois and Lana.
