Some good backstory on Cassie here. Based on this chapter and what some other reviewers have said, I guess I read it a little backward - I kinda sensed that Alvin was the one that didn't return *Cassie's* feelings. The read I got was that he finds her attractive, but not "relationship material". Yet she seems to constantly want to be with him. And if she has no feelings for him, is all her kindness to Alvin based on guilt? It seems she probably wouldn't have given him the time of day until she wronged him. Just thinking "out loud"...

So Cassie had her fair share of BS too then. And it's looking like Alvin at least is giving Wendy a second chance...Anyway great chapter I'm glad you're coming back with this! And it looks like some form of Romance may start between Alvin and Cassie? Maybe. I have some doubts though, I kinda feel like Cassie doesn't see Alvin that way, but who knows.
