Yo! I love your stories! Totally dig your writing style! Please do not stop! I check back damn near everyday to see if you updated your current stories. Also, I've been reading stuff in this site for a couple if years now, but I've never made an account until now; only just so I could leave comments/reviews like this one lol. I just needed to l let you know that you rock man! Love your characters, stories, and your overall writing style! You are, by a long shot, my favorite author of writings worldwide! Lol I never read!! I DON'T read.. Except for kinky smut that was written by a likeminded individual.. Anyway, keep it up man! Don't ever stop! Love it so that I may live it!

I try not to guess post times for future stories so I don't end up making a liar of myself, particularly with larger things like Time-Out. It will be easier to say once I've finished some of my shorter ongoing stories.

You have a point, Joy and Mark's relationship is far more normal than Judy and Scott's, or as normal as it can be within the Shrink Act universe anyway. I do hope we see Joy and Mark bonding in someway.
And thank you for these stories, they are really fun to read. Both the ones with the tiny person and big people get along and the ones where they don't.

There actually are families in the Shrink Act universe that are not grossly dysfunctional like the Stevenses! Any ways we see Joy and Mark bonding will definitely be much less messed up than Judy and Scott.

So I'm guessing Judy won't be giving Scott any more petting sessions now? I really liked that scene, though with the way things ended I'm not sure if she'd be inclined to give him more.
Maybe Joy and Mark can pick up on this?

I won't totally rule out something like that happening again, in case Judy feels the need to emotionally throw Scott off, but they're probably on a hiatus. And I'm not sure Joy and Mark have a twisted enough relationship (like Judy and Scott) for that to not be weird!

It is not a sequel to Shrink Act Files, though it takes place around the same time.

I agree with smok. I bet the dad was set up to keep him quiet about any dirt on Judy. We've never been given any info about the dad, but I wouldn't be surprised that HE left HER, because she was to overbearing and controlling. If things play out the way I'm guessing and based in part on what happened to that lousy husband in the side story, despite the divorce; Mr. Stevens will be given a VERY speedy trial, shrunk and put into Judy's custody. This might give the author opportunities to allow Judy to do things with the dad that she can never do with Scott.
Jacksmith, you have a way of giving the reader just enough to keep reading, but not as much as we'd like. I was hoping for some kind of resolution in Judy and Scott's conversation, but it stopped short of any kind of conclusion. The takeaway. All the options that Judy gave Scott were terrible in some way. Play the part of the perfect mascot and get his freedom more quickly at the expense of his soul. Keep fighting and face a shrunken lifetime under Judy's control. But I wouldn't trust the first option. There's no gurantee that she'll keep her word, since she wants to keep Scott under her control. Looking forward to the next part!

Hehe. All fair theories about Scott's dad, though of course I can't concretely confirm/deny any right now.
I realize the ending might've left people wanting. Ultimately, though, this is a single episode in an ongoing series, and the conflict bleeds heavily between them. There's still a long way for Scott to go before he can truly resolve things with anyone (or not); for now, he just has a lot to think about. The takeaway, then, is that Judy is dedicated to her rise in power and Scott now has to choose who to sacrifice, himself or everyone else. I've appreciated the thought you've put into your commentary for this story.

That may well be what happens eventually, especially if Judy keeps up like she has been. Right now, though, Scott and Maggie still have some things to work out between them.

I think Scott needs Allies rather tools. Funny some people find hard to believe that Judy is all but a mother! See how cool and emotionaless Judy reacted about Scott's rape. And Maggie as caring sister is not planned (i think). but from now she will be a bit more 'normal' one.

You're right that Scott needs allies now. Luckily for him, he's on his way to having a few after this story, though that still may not be enough to stop his mother. Your prediction about Maggie is a good one - she's not going to magically turn into a sweet angel, but her relationship with Scott is definitely changed after what Nancy did to him.

Considering how appalled Maggie is over what Nancy did, I've wondering. ..Why did Maggie want to give Scott a bath? Going by Scott's fears, he probably thought she'd take advantage of him, but now I'm not sure.

Good question; that was something I was hoping readers might consider. Before, Maggie imagined stripping Scott down like that just to be an act of ultimate humiliation - she might tease him, but it only would've been to make him feel sick. At the end, though, being forced to confront his reaction to that plus being violated by Nancy, she probably wouldn't have been able to.

JimBob, I'm trying to take the point of view of a parent. There's a lot of time and resource investment raising a child to become an adult that contributes to society. The wish for every parent is for the happiness of their children. As messed up as Judy is, I have trouble believing that she wishes a life of slavery on her son. Another hope for parents is for grandchildren. Now maybe she has some kind of plan for Scott that differs from his current treatment.and provides him with some opportunities to achieve some of the above, albeit under her supervision.

You're right that Judy doesn't want her son enslaved, as we'll see in the final couple of chapters. However, that's not to say she won't disregard a lot of what Scott wants in favor of what she sees as the greater good.

Non-canon? Damn! I liked how Ella seemed to enjoy holding tiny Scott. It gave me hope that they might share some intimate moments like that in the future. Plus Judy seemed to like Ella in the first story. I was hoping that if Judy's laws passed that she might be willing to let Scott go into her custody. A nice chapter! Some more with Scott and Ella next chapter? Hopefully Judy won't walk in on them. He'd probably never be able to see or talk to Ella again if that happened.

I realize I was pretty vague in that end note; even though the 1st one is non-canon, constants include Judy likes Ella, and Ella enjoys holding Scott at his smaller size. Unfortunately this chapter is Ella's only appearance in the story, but she will be in the next one.
