Well, I guess she's just an excitable girl! Max is in for some rough treatment, he might discover something about her though, that he could use in his favor. However, he'll have a lot of work to do before he finally gets a chance to prove himself to her,...
Thanks Tom! I have to agree that this chapter 'alone', did seem kind of rushed, but,... when you back up and read the two chapters before it, (leading up) it's really kind of, slow...
