At first I thought that the soldiers may have only recognized Ben's last name because they had heard rumors of his defiance towards Amy. But now, after getting a glimpse at his father, I wouldn't be surprised if it's because Daniel has a military background.

Sounds like Ben may have been trying to live up to his father's reputation for most of the story. Never backing down and doing his best to defend others.

Good stuff. It'll be interesting to see how they plan to convince the entire town to give her another chance.

Okay; being serious, now. I love the approach you're taking with this story. Bonding with gentle giantesses is still pretty much of an exception to the usual rule of gts-storytelling (i.e., "Girl Grow! Girl Smash-and-eat!"). And your contribution to the former continues to be done exceptionally well. :-)

Wait, Ben has a father?!!

The story is pretty fantastic. I think we already know what Ben's going to do, and I kind of hope that this story will have a sequel, because I love all of the characters you've created. Anyway keep up the good work, but take your time next time.

Also, even though you wrote your disclaimer at the top, I"m giving you 4.9. Cause I like being an asshole. :P
