I have to feel a bit more contempt than pity for Rob's mother. Whether or not he doesn't "think of it like that," kicking him out is precisely what she's doing! And, while I can intellectually understand why she's doing it ("Only criminals shrink; my son has shrunken; so, he MUST be a criminal; which means, I must disown him"), I can't honestly agree with it. No matter how heart-wrenching her sadness, what she's doing is still hypocritical. And, what hypocrites do is just plain unjustifiable in any way/shape/form.

Author's Response:

Wow, that is a way of looking at it I did not expect lol. I viewed it as an overreaction to nearly killing her son mixed together with longtime stress from several factors. His size must be stressful dealing with not just on an emotional level but on a daily one. I mean, every day she has to be on the lookout to make sure she doesn't accidentally crush him and the one time she's not paying attention she nearly does just that. Of course one of the many reasons would be exactly what you've brought up. She may love her son but all evidence points to something she just has to accept and ultimately deal with.

The plot Thickens!! *insert dramatic Music*

I rather liked this chapter. Nothing like a good old fashion 'honey I shrunk the kids' style near vore to end this arc of the story.

I wonder what kind of girl Kari really is? Oh I so hope you give me a hint.

Great job so far! Loving every chapter, particularly now that unaware has been added. Would be great to get that kind of thing with Kari or Kristen(?). Looking forward to future updates.

Author's Response:

I'll keep it in mind ^^

New reader review, I like your story set up so far.
Jaz is either the best thing in the world to happen to him, or a total asshole. I'm not convinced she's a 100% in either direction. That she can hear him in her ear is a plus, but he really needs a safe word/gesture he can signal when things get too crazy. Seriously, he jumped off the spoon in panic, or accidentally sucked in with a breath.
Right now, if I were Rob, I would quickly text my friends the situation, than try calling house phone, her cell, the other friends while moving to an object for shelter or at least out of foot rest territory. But I have a feeling that's not the story this is going to be next chapter.

Author's Response:

She's nothing if not unique.

As for the speculation...Well I won't spoil it but I did put some consideration into a lot of those things you mentioned ^^

I will guess...not!

Jerry Seinfeld said it best: "Women know what men want. Men know what men want. What do we want? We want women!"

Hey Asterisk, I just started reading through this one, and I have to say that you pull off the stream of consciousness tact very well.  It's hard to do and it definitely brings your story to life.

Author's Response:

Thanks. This is the first time I've ever done a major story from this sort of perspective before and it's definitely a little challenging but glad you're liking it!

To paraphrase Carol King:

"Jazzzzzzz-girl! Take Bob's blues away."

LOL! Nice, playful chapter.

Author's Response:

That is strangely appropriate. Jaz, Rob/Bob, Blues. I like it.

Good chapter.

Considering the title of the story, does that mean Kari and Kristen wont be as important anymore from here on?

Author's Response:

They'll be back. Jaz is the first girl to get a ton of screentime but ideally I want them all to. Won't say much beyond that.

From bottom to top in nothing flat (and Jaz's top is _definitely_ nothing flat; lol!).

Ah-ha! Now, the picture starts to get a little clearer. If this isn't the work of Karma (or whatever), then maybe there's an ultra-oonservative branch of the FCC that shrank him. For hoarding photo-captures of feet!

Next chapter: "Guess Who's Gonna Be Pretend-dinner?"

;-D

OK! Being serious, now. It's very nice to see Jaz being so mischievous, yet genuinely caring at the same time. She's sort of like...an African-American Bianca!

I'm loving this stories focus on how people would handle someone else shrinking.

With most gts stories its either enslavement, death, or pity. However, you have characters treating the main like an actual person, and learing to live with his new condition.

There are not many stories that explore giantesses from this angle.

Since I'm not into micro/nano stories I'm not really into the story; I just wanted to see how you'd define good and bad. What you said is interesting, and I thank you for your extended reply.
