I was very surprised with how much you were able to flesh out what is ostensibly the stereotypical macrophile forum post as a story.  I liked how the "you" of the story was writing the events before actually doing anything; it simultaneously gave it a unique pacing and made it way meta, which I always enjoy seeing in these kinds of stories if someone has a good sense of humor about it, and you certainly do.  The references to "gentle" stories were a pretty goofy touch as well, considering you or "you" wouldn't touch one with a ten foot pole.  Kudos and cupcakes and spilled entrails to you, etc.
