It does need to be longer for readers to enjoy. It just seems like every sentance starts with 'Jay did this'. It is a very good story and does have a lot of potential.

A solid start, but it needs to be longer. Also we don't need exact heights for the characters. other than that though it seems good enough, and I feel confident that in time this story will improve.

Also congrads on including african characters a rarity on this website for some reason
