Hey, I really enjoyed this. I sent you an email and am curious whether his mother really knew it was him all along or just towards the end as she put him in her shoe. Or, was she really oblivious the entire time? One would think she'd be suspicious of the wet feeling after she crushed him. Perhaps you could do one where the son really thinks his mother doesn't know it's him, then give her point of view that she is aware. Thanks for a fun and cruel story.

this was a good short little story. I liked the line"She slowly rotated her hand to tip the occupants into the awaiting grave"
