Ah, yes! I can see where this is most likely headed.

"And, over here, Mrs. McGinnis, is the shrink ray invented by Superman's enemy Brainiac. Or, rather, an extra-dimensional counterpart thereof, from the planet Mega rather than Krypton."

Only chapter 17 can tell me whether or not I guessed wrong. ;-)

You're in for quite a surprise then... But only chapter 18 will tell you where it's really going, combining two DC plot devices never before combined by any other writer.
