Very cool idea the men not being able to read, although I have to wonder why his mom sent him to school in the first place?

I'm very, very interested in this. I love the setting and the world you're crafting and I'd honestly rather explore it a little bit more than indulge in the fetish presented here. I'm always interested in stories where there is a chance for a reasonable, happy ending. Me being me though, I'd like to see a bit more of the mom involved, but this is just grand.
