Author's Response: Consider how many gambling casinos are located in the Bahamas, I think the name "Paradise Island" is as much a pun on "pair o'dice" as it is a thinly-disguised homage to the geographic tweaking done by the "Wonder Woman" TV series of the 1970's. To wit; placing the birthplace of Princess Diana in the Bermuda Triangle.

Ah, the images that such a combination of names conjure up in the mind of this fan of both Wonder Woman and Gulliver.
