Ah! Good old retro-science fiction. When the gaseous atmosphere of Jupiter was innocently thought to be cloud cover concealing an Earth-like environment (albeit with heavier-than-Earth gravity). Nowadays, of course, we know it's a gas giant that, under other circumstances, might have made us a binary star system!
