Not Gym Allon, the Colossal Boy, I hope.

Author's Response:

Why do you hope it isn't? Although in this timescribeline, he's never called Colossal Boy, as the Legion of Human Heroes is formed in the 40th Century instead of the LSH in the 30th.

"Flashers of Two Worlds?"

*Shudders with revulsion and makes Van Helsing-style cross with index fingers.*

Author's Response:

Oh well. I could have called him the Scarlet Streaker.

Nicely researched chapter. Bravo!

Author's Response:

It suddenly occurred to me, while I was sitting on the loo thinking up the next plot, that both Brainwave and Brainiac had begun their careers shrinking super heroes. When I checked the dates of the relevant comics, there was an exact 15 year difference. Wow.

Cave Carson and the Challs? Excellent!

*Insert triumphant river-dancing here.*

Author's Response:

As I progressed on from the 1940s and wanted to use non-powered characters against giants and shrinkers sometimes, Carson and the Challengers seemed the obvious choices.

From sidekicks to side-dish. Ah, well!

Author's Response:

side dish?

Bwhahahahhahahaha.

And, here, we adjourn for the nonce.

Author's Response:

Actually Selina Kyle faked amnesia, and was pardoned, and it wasn't discovered until she helped Batman against the Scarecrow and soonafter married Bruce Wayne and bore the Huntress.

Ah! I forgot about Miss Kyle's rehabilitation. It must've been quite the "cat-harsis."

Author's Response:

Cat-harsis. Well at least your puns are still pushing my funny button.

Is it "Batwoman" or "Hatwoman?" I'm confused. You kept bouncing back and forth, there.

Author's Response:

I guess I did confuse people. Catwoman is now also going by the name Hatwoman and is Selina Kyle adding a bowler hat to her Catwoman costume.

A separate character Batwoman is Kathy Kane. Both of them became new members of the JSA in this yarn.

If the plays on words get any worse, I'm going to have sick the "Pun-isher" on you.

Author's Response:

He won't have any jurisdiction in the DC Faniverse. You'd have to use Lo-Blow instead.

OK! This spoof of a certain FF story more than makes up for the pun in the previous chapter's cliff-hanger. But, I'm being generous only because I'm past the half-way mark.

;-)

Author's Response:

Oh i get it now. You didn't like that pun. Well it's written now, 'n' there's nothin' I c'n do to be vixen it up.

*Facepalm!*

Facepalm? I was hoping that B'nana Beast would solicit a B'wahahahahahah from you.

As Wm. Fakespeare once said: "All the world's a restaurant. And, each man has his exits and entrees."

Author's Response:

And I'll incorporate that theory if I ever write Bill and Ted's Restaurant Adventure.

I would've gone with "Morsel Man."

Good idea! The Morsel the merrier.

Let's hope Toughy doesn't prove so tough that he makes her _break_ wind!

Author's Response:

He won't but I'm glad you raised the subject of Flatulence humour. It comes up in future chapters, like I've never done it before on this forum. I think Agrader's early works are rubbing off on me. Just as well he rubbed them off the site then.

Something tells me Rip's hypothesis isn't "Farr" wrong.

Author's Response:

Love the Elasti Girl joke. I had thoughts of using her in a later chapter, and for reasons of making the puns work for you, I chose Doris Zuell again instead, so soon after her appearance in Timescribe's Double Drabbles, I know. Yet this yarn will rewrite her origin totally differently to either the Superfriends version or the Wonder Woman comics version or the Justice League 2002 cartoons version.

Now, this should prove fun.

Author's Response:

If you're interested in the Atom Sequence from that All-Star Comics issue 10, it was most recently made available in All-Star Comics Archives Volume 2 (1992 hardcover edition).

Interesting opener. I can't wait to see how you tie these Golden Agers together.

Author's Response:

Well, as you've by now read, they were tied together with the help of a somewhat silver age character back in his golden age teenage years, which were never chronicled by DC... in other words, the young Rip Hunter.
