Not much to say on this part, am still very much enjoying the story but i would like to ask a question.

As the humans go through the change from human to giant they lose freckles and what not. But what happens if they had tattoos, would they disappeare also?

I'd like to think so.  Tattoos are forms of scars and with their changes their bodies heal them of their flaws.  Thank you for addressing this and enjoying my story!!!
