As the equally prolific Stan Lee of Marvel Comics might put it:

"A terrific epilogue. Nuff said!"

:-)

Author's Response: Actually I messed it up. It was Lost in Space: Time Mercheant (not as I originally posted "Visit to a hostile planet") that got remade as Land of the Giants: Wild Journey. Visit to a hostile Planet was remade as LOTG: Home Sweet Home. This occurred to me in the shower last night, and I've fixed it on this forum.

Awesome! Just like Irwin, himself, would've done it. A non-violent denouement that completely ignores the question of culture shock without the audience even realizing it. :-)

Bravo!

Hmmmmmmmmm! There's going to be a slight case of culture shock for one of these groups. Because, if the Jupiter-2 lands on Earth, circa 1985, that puts the Robinson family twelve years in their past! But, if she lands on Earth, circa 2001 (four years after she first took off), that will mean the LOTG wormhole carried Spindrift fourteen years into the future as well as to another planet!

On the lighter side, I liked the giants' confusion of the Jupiter 2 with Spindrift. I did that a lot, myself, when I was a kid, watching both these shows. Lol!

Author's Response: I wasn't sure where to place the Robinsons in time, so I counted on the space warp being a time warp too, as it did in Home Sweet Home, which left us wondering whether it was the time ship or the warp that sent Fitz and Steve back to the early 1900s.

Please, don't let it be Gilligan's Island.

Please, don't let it be Gilligan's Island.

Please, don't let it be Gilligan's Island.

Author's Response: Well here's a tale that I just won't write Of two giants lost at sea. Perhaps they shouldn't make spaceflight, With authors just like me.

Oh, I'm definitely going to enjoy this.

"This...is...IRWIN-LAND"

:-)

Author's Response: I spent a week with no plot ideas at all, just the desire for a 4 way Irwin crossover, and then it came to me on Thursday night.
