interesting... a thought occurs to me though, does she really want to be friends with jake just to be nice and make friends? or because the simple fact that is either him or no one?

anywho, i hope that after jake gives her his story, that this tale of yours really takes off.
if susie wanted, do you think her dad could purchase enough bottles of nail polish to have her toenails painted?

Well, she's already met Jake, so unless she goes to the town and shows herself to everyone she's not easily going to get any other friends. And she's also never had a normal kid as a friend before, so making friends with him is something she really wants to do.

I think the story will really take off by chapter 6, since I feel I have to introduce the characters feelings for each other first. Anyway, thanks for the review and good to see you're still reading!
