Author's Response: I can only say this. Their shapechanging versatility is part of the in-story augmentation. Just my way of keeping your Morpher canon relatively inviolate.

* Fulgurite: geological term for any quantity of sand fused into a glass-like substance by lightning strikes.
Slovenian orm: European counterpart of the American mudpuppy (salamander with life-long gills) that lives in underground waters. Hence, it has no eyesight (similar to the aptly-named blindfish).
Wizard Island: an island off the western rim of Crater Lake. Named for the extinct volcano that dominates it (i.e, it's conical shape is supposedly reminiscent of a wizard's hat).
