Another great chapter. It was really nice to see some domination scenes with the orc and Vann, and I especially appreciated the foot scenes with her and Vann, thank you for that.

Interesting development with The Mistress using asteroids to try to cause the apocalypse. Definitely a unique and simple twist on a world ending scheme as opposed to some elaborate spell or summoning some ancient or eldritch horror. As they say, keep it simple lol.

I look forward to hearing more about her past as Zevonias servant, I wonder how she managed to live this long. 

The heros definitely seem to have their work cut out for then. I always look forward to reading more.

The Mistress is a powerful sorceress who has been around for a long time obviously, I like to think that at some point she looked for a more direct route to destroying the world than selling herself off to another divine or demon lol, like you said keep it simple, big rocks go boom.

Boss battle time! And Vann seemed to have gone first and rolled a good hit, even it it didn’t do enough damage.  

And understanding asteroid are a thing huh, well I don’t think she can keep good tabs on dwarven astronomy from all the way out there, but her nots should be worth a lot to sell.

After they git her, and maybe not kill her, Carlotta might get to visit Zenovia with Vann when both are unconscious. And Vann sill also get to look at what Zenovia punishments for heresy are. 

And to add to the last reviews thing on vampires, a vampier over the millennia had to have decided to combine known size changing magic with Zenovia’s Embiggen for efficiency to make some ideal candidate bigger while under trance (whatever if the best blood for vampires) and the shank themselves snd their coven and harvested the blood from the now far larger ‘blood donor’. Bet that would allow a truly large amount of vampires to enjoy a full meal. Then the prison is shrunk into a tiny and made to recover for latter.

Thought a different interesting leftover of Zenovia, also using elven longevity, a elf learns the basic set of spells and prayers and such, but not much much in her youth (possibly younger then Eletha), and whatever happen, just kept going it. And so shes been at it for several thousand years, perhaps even in a particular city foe a thousand years directly. And over that she accrued the equivalent of divine interest, it just been sticking to her and not going to Zenovia cause he want doing it completely. 

So nothing evil, just an ultra faithful follower, who probably would have been a better choice for chosen after all this time, and once Vann finds her would get scheduled to replace him once he’s dead. 

Oh, and a fun bonus thought, a sheep girl who’s head of an unrelated cult, Cult of the Lamb and such, if Enid’s cuteness is anything to go by. 

Author's Response: Whatever might be left of Zenovia's priesthood was scattered to the winds, any immortal followers she has are probably so far underground even the goddess herself would have trouble finding them, that said an elf or a vampire or some other aged being might know some of her rituals even if they're not a full time follower. Enid for example is younger than Eletha, but still recognized Zenovia's name even if she didn't know a lot about her. As for replacing Vann with an immortal, that comes with pitfalls too, mortals make fairly didactic and active worshippers where immortals can tend to get stuck in a rut. The day may come when Vann needs to think about a successor, but it's far off yet.

I've been following this one, but nary left a review. I'm going to fix that. This is a real bundle of fun. There's a bit of everything, lore, jokes and of course, the good stuff, in each chapter. It's a real fast, packed story, no chapters are spent just travelling, and very little wasted time. 

Eletha is wonderfully proud and arrogant, Chadwick is an absolute bro, Rumana's real cute with him, and a bundle of dwarvin fun. Tyra is another fun, rough and tumble tomboy, among my favorites in here, and Vann, our main man, has a heart of iron, not to mention, a prickly sense of humor.

Zenovia turned out to be a very likable character. She warmed up to Vann rather quickly, but for a rational cause, because he seemed decently devoted to her. I have to confess, however, my favorite character in here is Razita, but that's just because I have an eye for tall, muscular orc girls. "Humie" is the cherry on top.

You finest moment was Vann striking Carlotta: 

“My timing isn’t great,” Vann called, “but I hope the joke landed.”

We've got a few more chapters yet but we are moving into the final act. As I've said this story is in the style of a DnD campaign, so a lot gets packed in even as the party is on the move.

Vann, like a lot of my protagonists, accepts that he's dealing with the world from a position of weakness, but that doesn't mean he himself is a weakling or the sort to just roll over and die. In the face of someone insulting him and his goddess? Yeah you'd better be ready to fight.

While Vann spends a lot of time with various girls in this obviously Tyra is the endgame pairing so to speak, the rough and tumble tomboy childhood friend who is otherwise caring and genuinely loves him.

If you like orcs (or green women in general) who are haughty and like shrinking humans I guess I'm one of the go-tos haha. Yeah I love "humie" as a general term for humans whenever orcs (or Zetans) want to be a little demeaning.
